I can’t seem to find the article that said that, I’m assuming it would be kick returns just because Aloia was ahead of him. But I did find another stat that shows Talau was the 4th highest in average Meters per game after Nofa,douiehi And aloia. He’s also got one of our better try scoring strike rates with 8 tries from 13 games.

I like AJ but I see Talau getting the nod ahead of him.

Aj might be quicker but Talau breaks tackles easy and great finisher! He averaged 2nd most metres behind Alioia last year. Talau over Aj for me.

If Gebbie ever gets here I’d put him on the wing.
Heaps faster and more elusive than both of them.

I think people are also worried we won't score points..Brooks sucks blah blah Benji gone..

Well for the only team to concede 20+ point per game 10+ weeks in a row (NRL record)..i would say defence will determine our fate more than anything in 2021..if that is not dramatically improved ..forget it..

Really would like to see an improvement in the defence today more than anything,with quite a few changes to the team from last year be good to see a committed in sync defence

What did he do wrong today? Ran decent lines and defended well from what I saw. With Blore injured we don't have too many other options unless you want to throw MCK in there?

I'd like to see Kelma get a little more match fitness up - For the early rounds Seyfarth looks like the safer bet - gets through a lot of work in the middle of the field whereas Tuilagi seems to be playing purely on an edge.

Why Simpkin Willow ??

Liddle was doing it on his ear today ....again true he probably won't get the same latitude in attack and will have to do a lot more defence .....but our middle will be key all year ..how it holds up under pressure in defence is vital .....4 forwards ...it's a no brainer for me

Seyfarth seemed to get constantly owned today. He just hasn't ever done anything to impress me but I guess he doesn't have to. Surprised he is in your 17 but if he does make it come round 1, all the best to him.

I def don't want mck and he probs is our best option atm. However he fell of his usual amount of tackles and had some lazy efforts getting back in the defensive line. Like I have mentioned nobody else comments on it so I must be biased against him. I can't work out why.

Why Simpkin Willow ??

I'm not sure Liddle has 80 in him for the first few rounds. I think with the way the ruck speed may work, two 9's may be the best bet, or I'd at least roll with Mbye on the bench once AD is back as he provides genuine utility value.
