They're referring to him posting a photo of his girlfriend for the first time as a 'debut', although Walters did say 'that's two debuts in a week' so you never know. As for all the other comments they're not talking about his footy I believe

I try not to read into all the social stuff and focus on what is said footy related.

I see the word “debut” multiple times and for me it’s too coincidental that it happens to be a week before his likely first grade debut.

Had a poor year last year and didn't do much in the trials. CC for Garner round 1 at least for mine.

A lot comes down to whether Mbye is ready to go or not. If he is out, Laurie to 1 and either Talau or Madden at 6, with Jake Simpkin on the bench.


Agree, I don’t think Garner has done enough to earn a spot round one?

He was absolute pus last year and did little in the trials, can hardly see how that has him locked in for a gig next week.

It wasn't me that voted you down but it is not a good idea in any shape or form.Too small would be the least of the problems i could see happening

I think u can have mbye and tuki or Jake Simpkins and CheeKam as you need backs coverage and hooker coverage and backrower coverage.

When Blore comes back and Garner goes to the bench pending form that gives u more flex but in reality Tuki can replace twal at lock or the edge backrowers while Mbye covers all the backs and hooker for 20 mins. With the headknock rules as they are you are going to loose a back often enough that Mbye at 14 becomes essential.

I do love our depth this year with Mbye, Talau, Madden it gives you genuine backups .

I look at our 28 and think we prob have 3 gaps left and that a 3rd hooker/utility, a winger and a secondrower.

We have Fitzgibbon, Cini, Gebbie, Kei, Roberts Davis, Hoffna all comoeting who can cover that outside back spot spot as the season progresses as bsckup behind Talau and in the backrow Tuilagi impressed and as a development will be avilable round 10

The key for me is adding another hooker/utility. We have a injury plagued 9, a 19 yr old and Mbye who is a fill in at best so all our efforts should be on filling that spot and i note Hastings still hasnt got on a plane

Could well be accidental when icons are so close, or just meaning to swipe, as I have done so similarly on a few platforms.

On our chances of the team leaving the field as winners in a week's time, it will be just like the vast majority of all matches. WT forward's performance, including the nine that guides them through the middle, will have likely been the largest factor on the result.

Also expecting Nofoaluma to shine again this coming season and whomever gets the nod on the left will also need to perform at a good level in attack, particularly with the early runs helping out tired middles that will probably get less breathers following the scrum changes.

I like this side but once AD, Blore and Musgrove are back Madden, Garner and Packer make way.

Packer offers nothing off the bench prefer TM ahead of him.

I wonder if we will lack that superstar/origin quality player that most teams have.

I know it's a team game and how we perform as a team is more important than individual but sometimes you need that person who is a class above.

I thought he was fine in the trials, ran good lines which we know he can do and his defence was solid - wrapped up Schuster well and he will trouble most teams.
