Just for the record….i think the 1-13 pick themselves.

Its the bench that is interesting.

Im hoping for Cayless,Payten,Moops and Flanagan.

I like this bench,I dont think we lose too much when the starters have a break.

I wish I had a theory to that effect but I just forgot about Bryce - I thought I was a player short!!

Well Gibbs will start instead of Payten and he'll be on the bench assuming he's passed fit.

Well if thats the case my 1-13 is the same as yours,looks pretty clear cut to me.

The bench is the same but you have Fitzy and I have Flanagan.

I think Yoss may be right on the Bench….Sheens has carried a back on the bench Round 1 for 16 years...can't see him changing....

Swap him for Brown whoever it is will more than likely only see 5 mins...

thats the team id pick, sheens will have lui @7 moltz @1 which is wrong but it is what it is.

lote being here for round 1 is great, the leiscter tigers did us a biggie there i thought they would hold on to him for another couple weeks, hopefully lote turns out in round 1 he arrives back wednesday our time which means he probably wont train till friday with the good ol' jet lag playing its part.

i notice you keep having little stabs at me geo, do you wanna elaborate on this here or in a PM?

He has played some good footy in the lower grades, and has held his own in the couple of games he has played in the top grade. I don't think anyone has suggested he is a superstar, but I think he deserves a lot more game time this year.

I watch a fair bit of the lowers.

I would have thought Gower would have been in front of him.

But if Payton is fit he will def get a benchie in front of Mataka,IMO of course.

If last Saturdays trial is anything to go by that has all changes as Heighno was hitting much wider of the ruck then the stagnant version we saw last year. I also expect to see Dwyer featuring in front of Mataka once back from injury and has game time under his belt.

it's looking that way Smeg….how Coach Sherns has put brothers Jason & Al in the Top 25, ahead of the most consistent & hard working forward like David Gower is beyond me

I havent seen enough of Gower but he didnt impress me as much in his one first grade game as I had hoped given the hype here. Simon Dwyer is a far bigger talent.

It's not that I necessarily WANT Fitzy but I'm sure Sheens will pick him and let's face it he does cover a lot of positions. Maybe not that well but none-the-less he does cover them.
