Slowing down but keeping your line isn't in any
way an infringement. We see fullbacks doing it
all the time when the ball is about to roll dead.
Like Tucker mentioned, he seemed to have
been anticipating the ball hitting the pad...

I put that more on the ability of the players to execute during the game. A coach can prepare, but the players are the ones who have to put it into practice. A coach can't run the lines, deliver a pass, make attacking decisions during a raid that's all on the back of the players to crack the opposition defence - and agree more than once this season teams have nullified our attack.

It could definitely be argued that way, and I would totally get it. I would also trust your gut as to them explaining their way out of it, they have form.

You’re allowed to slow down, stop, dance if u will. As long as u don’t change direction to impede a runner, as long as brooks is running in the direction of the ball. It’s all legal, except the push in the back. You can’t do that fir any reason I believe.

Fair point. I wasn't 100% on the rule there anyway. That aside, I am firmly in the "Ice shouldn't have been penalised" camp.

I am in the camp of, although I love his passion to stop the field goal. It wasn’t the smartest play, given that even if he kicked the goal it would of only drawn the game, not won it. It wasn’t worth the risk. Pressure the kicker just jump a metre in front of him. Dumb play remember the refs are always looking at any excuse to take the win off us!

The refs don’t give a shit whether we win or lose, why would they?
We’ve had some bum calls over the years…as has every side. It’s how you react to them that counts. We do not react well enough.

I think most agree, as I do by the way, that some decisions were wrong last night.
Irrespective though, we still should have won that game. Brooks and Api both said as much in interviews afterwards. Tim is the one pushing the refs narrative and it’s a fairly translucent attempt to shift focus from the fact that this squad is too good to have lost 75% of their games this year.
