In 2024 the Tigers have 6 wins with a game to go against the 2nd last Eels & have wins over Manly, Souths & Cronulla.

whatever you think about Marshall as a coach, it is undeniable the spirit and belief he has instilled in this playing group. for us to come back from 16-0 down against the team running 6th while languishing in dead last is an incredible feat.

not much else to say besides the fact that we need to start Sione, Twal, Pole and Seyfarth next year, cut them the tape of tonight and tell them that is what is required at minimum every week. if they do that our spine will do the rest.

Twal's last couple of games have been very strong. I think there's an argument for him to step in next season to start.

If we could get someone like Kleese Haas on an edge & just shore up the middle- there's a lot of metres made on edges & through the wingers. We just have to stop the highway through the middle of the field. That Bullemoor break through Steph, Koroisau & Pole shows how poor our middle can be.

I get people booing brooks but it's not at all the same as Moses, woods, Brasher, Morrison. We low balled him and he got a great contract from Manly. And then we sign the Fainus and Galvin is now playing 5/8 on a small contract with luai on the way. Brooks and Manly did us a massive favour. We should applaud them.

We didn't low ball him, we offered him an extension despite him having robbed us blind for years on an inflated contract with crap output

I have to say that I thought they could and would run us down anytime they wanted to, but they just kept stuffing up their opportunities. The sin bins reminded me of us and I was sure we would blow it even after them. Footy gods on our side tonight - enjoy it as it doesn’t happen often.
If we could just defend who knows!!

Our players demonstrated desperation when breaks were made to get into position to frustrate the Eagles. It was good to watch.

Seyfarth to me should have always been an edge backrower. If they can use him properly he will be a handful.

Needs to lay off the pre-workout before games too so he doesn’t lose the plot.

Seyfarth was a second row forward in the juniors and was always going to play NRL. I liked the way he singled out Nathan Brown when he came on. Controlled agression.

Absolutely. I enjoyed how Mason came into the backline and especially the break he made on the Western side of the field in the second half when his pace put him through defenders. Even the commentary team noted his blistering speed. He is going to be a very good player.

While the big fella can look awesome carrying the ball at times, he remains quite heartless is the big moments. That play that got manly to 22 points are the ones the best front rowers get themselves in the way to help the fullback. Fisher Harris makes that tackle, yet Stefano didn't even try. Simply let Tom run past him.

Agree. He will be a star at Melbourne. There aren't many front rowers with his ability really, and the Melbourne standards will ensure he reaches his potential. He could have reached that potential here if he was strong minded, but he needs to be forced into it like a child.
