He’s ok BF, will have a big game, remember last year when he was pleading to play in the halves. Well here’s his chance.
I remember him trying to hold my club to ransom, demanding to play 6 in NRL or he’d rather play in reggies. And how he kicked stones after, and how he refused to tackle under post, and how he fains an injury after an error, but can jump to his feet to punch on. I have more.
He’s in our team, I don’t like it, but I will support him wholeheartedly and hope he has the sort of game that turns a once bitten critic into a Rastafarian Doobie deciple.
He has 219 more games to make up for. I’m counting till he makes good. I let ya know when he getting close.

How’s ya Saturday racing going Hal?
I was 1 off a quady last week. Bloody favourites.

Doueihi at halfback is interesting

He's actually got quite a good long kicking game - has those big spiral bombs, and he kicked that 40/20 in the trial game too when he played halfback

He's not great at passing short, but he's got an excellent left to right cutout pass too, which hopefully he uses to hit To'a and Turuva

Luai at 6 really excites me. I wanna see him getting the ball out wide, in dangerous position, running at defenders.

His biggest skill is putting doubt in defenders and if he can do that and link with Sam Fainu, it'll be awesome.

I'm expecting the attack to remain clunky, but they'll work their asses off. Naden and Laulilii are really good yardage players, hope Naden gets some room to run and they defend well together, that's my biggest worry

Massive game for Benji and the players. I'm honestly expecting them to be super pumped up for this one!

Lachlan Galvin has broken his silence on his decision to knock back the Wests Tigers after a tumultuous 24 hours.

It comes on the day Galvin was dropped by coach Benji Marshall after the club’s senior players approached him about not wanting the 19-year-old in the team against Parramatta on Easter Monday.

“I totally understand my decision will frustrate many Wests Tigers fans, but please know that it wasn’t an easy call to make,” Galvin said in a statement sent to this masthead.

“It’s a decision that I have discussed at length with my parents, closest friends and family. I’m extremely grateful for their love and support in making this call.
The biggest reason why I made this call now is so that the Wests Tigers have enough time to plan their roster without me in the future. That’s the absolute truth of it.

“The club were eager to get a deal done, and so they called a meeting with my management last week. I could’ve mulled over this decision all season, but I didn’t think that was the right thing to do.
I thought it would be best for everyone to make the call now rather than drag it out.

“Any suggestion that I already have a deal done at another club for 2027 is simply not true.

“I’m extremely grateful to be able to go to work every day as an NRL footballer and the Wests Tigers have played a massive role in the opportunity I have to play this game.

“I just feel that as I move into an important period of my development as a half, that I continue to build my game at a different club. Again, I know this might be hard for some people to understand, but I make this decision in the best interests of my career.”

Galvin’s father James also addressed the situation.

“I can understand how Tigers fans feel, but as his father, I can also understand why Lachlan feels he needs a change,” he said.

“I want the best for my son and his development as an NRL player and for that I’m supportive of his decision as he’s the one who knows his game best.
As a family we’re comfortable that Lachie is backing himself as a young man. What I know is that Lachie will continue to do his best for the club for the remainder of his time there.”

Biggest game of the season so far in my opinion cause if we lose this can really ruin our season but even with Moses playing now we should smash them but I would be lying if I wasn't nervous for this game
I agree, -any side with Moses in it after all he’s a State of Origin player and is dangerous -there are no easy wins in this competition at the moment, but I hope we smash them

How dumb. Can’t fathom why the Eels would bring him back when they have a bye next round. Could’ve given him another good two weeks of recovery just to make sure he’s fit.

They must rate their chances of getting a win against us. Tigers by 13+ and Moses re-injures himself 😂
And Galvin breaks a leg for Wests

You’d think his dad is the one playing the way he talks. If he backed himself he’d go the distance with the club who gave him his debut jersey 🐷

I'll be signing up too.

Win or lose on Monday - Benji, Richo and management, Kudos to you.

It's pretty remarkable, that in dropping one of our star players, I cannot recall WT fans ever, collectively, being more proud with management. Brimming.
Anyone who was on the fence like me should back the club here and sign up if they can. Show them we support them and how they’re doing things.
I feel like this will Galvinise the group (pun intended) haha

I'm more confident now about the future than I was a week ago
Team Unity as Luai posted is what its all about
Douehi at 7 is definitely a stop gap measure
Would like to see Latu developed into this role
We could end up with a Fainu Brothers dynasty
First Samuela comes good ,Now Sione playing great and I've seen Latu display skills at running the ball
Other problem is Skelton seems to be a long term injury issue
What's with Terrell's brother Taylan ?
