He’s in our team, I don’t like it, but I will support him wholeheartedly and hope he has the sort of game that turns a once bitten critic into a Rastafarian Doobie deciple.
He has 219 more games to make up for. I’m counting till he makes good. I let ya know when he getting close.

Going ok on the punt mate, went to Kyneton races last Thursday and backed 5 of the 7 winners, then up to Bendigo on Saturday where I had a reasonable day.
Off to Caulfield tomorrow and then Mornington on Saturday ( it keeps me off
the streets), but do t play multiples any more, strictly a W/P guy.
You know I rate Douehi so hope he has a good game, who knows, he and Luai might just click.
Seems funny to look at the backline and see Star, Naden and Douehi all there together.

I was cautious against Newcastle and Parra first time round, and still feel doubtful here. Tigers usually stink it up after eventful weeks, ala spoon bowl last year. Parra have a good backline, their forwards look a little weak, particularly our former tiger second row. You'd think if we play composed organised football that we should have enough, but we've seen that situation before.

It would be really good for the club if we could win this and doueihi plays well. I think playing him at halfback puts him in a distribution role which I like. His trouble in the past in the halves was getting a bit confused and hogging the ball too much, a bit like Galvin. He seems a different player this year, much smarter and playing for the team. I hope it continues.

You'd think they'd be vulnerable on the edges with their second rowers who don't like tackling so hopefully lots of balls to samuela and Bula out wide.

Nervous about Naden, but hopefully the reports of improved attitude come true.

I like laulilii on the wing, even if he has a few errors in him.

Forget all this other crap, just win.

Use the hatred to bond the players, turn up for each other and bloody win!

The only way to make sure that the fans believe this team first mentality is to not let any player break the line between the two spaces on either side of you.

The entire momentum of making tough decisions, almost keeping teams to 0 twice will go to waste if we lose against the bottom team.

Gotta make sure we win this game no matter what.

Mitch Moses makes me nervous. I still haven't forgotten the Easter Monday game in 2019, the opening of the new Parramatta stadium. He tore us a new one that day. 51-6 the scoreline read. Interestingly the only player who is still playing for us from that day is Alex Twal. Feels like he's been around for a while now.

He wasn’t playing his first game in eight months that day.
 
Whoever goes to the game can you please give Adam Doueihi a rip roaring cheer for me. This bloke has busted his body for our team. Playing on pretty low coin because he didn't want to leave. 100th game playing in the halves what an absolute mad dog. Yes we want wins but this is the stuff you want to see from your roster.

Just be quiet when he’s lining up his goals. He was spraying them all over the shop in Newcastle.

Still think he was favouring his groin up there and that didn’t help his kicking. Even when he scored he wasn’t moving freely, we don’t need another player carrying an injury into a game.

Won’t his lingering injury impact his kicking game? Isn’t that the reason he wasn’t goal-kicking?
I’d love to see some more of those torpedoes!

And btw - can someone explain to me why the torpedo isn’t used waaay more often?
I mean, those big kicks that end up down the throat of the fb or wingers, boring! seem like a waste compared to the chaos a torp can cause.

Hitting a torp under pressure isn’t easy. And if you mistime it, it can be embarrassing.
