Ref has the choice to call either .....obviously biggest advantage was penalty at that moment

Decided the whole game over that. Ref shouldn’t have the power to decide it like that.

Yeah it’s a crap way to end a great game, but it’s not the first time it’s happened.

Yeah it should be Golden Try. Field goals and penalty goals should just carry the game on.

Only if the sin bin is applied, else it would be a free for all.

I do think BJ and Mbye are better centres , however I thought Momo had a solid game, and that try his scored was really well done, he had to beat a few and made Morris look ordinary in defence.

I don't mind having a bloke who adds close to nothing, when that "close to nothing" is 13 tries in 15 matches. That was a clutch play from Mommers tonight; there was every reason to think he'd get tackled by the ample cover.

It's bloody awesome isn't it!! How good was 2010/2011 when we were a part of it. I love watching the chooks play.

Couldn't help but think of the 2010 games against the Dragons and Roosters. Though I've never rewatched the latter, I've always felt proud of (IMO) the performance we put up against the Dragons.
The intensity of tonight's game was high and watching those powerhouse forwards elevate their teams only made me wish that we can gain the players to create such a brutal pack(as either team). The dying minutes of that game was a real arm wrestle.

Well done to Momirovski and Paps for their input in the result.

No... It hasn't...

Yes..... it has..... slowing down the play the ball has been 6 again all year.

Not in this GP situation, Ref's also have the option to penalise... In this situation 6 more to melb is useless... Imo correct decision.

You don't reckon players should be forced to get to their feet before playing the ball though? Not just in this instance but in the NRL in general. The PTB's are an absolute mess as far as abiding by the rules of playing the ball goes. It needs to be cleaned up and refereed strictly to prevent a game being absolutely gift-wrapped to a team when the penalty could've easily gone either way.

Yowzers, the spewfest has started on Fox early tonight. Gatorade Bwaiff and The Macho Man Ennis waxing lyrical about Roosters and Storm. "They care for their players", "players go to these clubs as 2nd-raters and end up superstars" etc etc. I can't recall anyone who has gone to either club as a dud and has been magically transformed into a champ. Thats when i turned the sound off and fast forwarded to the game on Kayo. Watched the game with no sound. Turned the sound on for 5 minutes and heard Cooper Gronk on how he was feeling watching "his" two sides hammering each other. That was it for me.
