wow at people that don't want him, if inglis was coming here would you be disappointed.

He is not nowhere near as good as inglis !!
Barba has no heart he can't tackle and **he won't put his body on the line** like teddy , in matua I reckon he will be cheap and can defend and attack

Your kidding yea?

No he has no heart look at last years grand final and see how he tried to defend , in my opinion he has no heart compare to teddy , great in attack but can't defend

There must be a reason beyond Folau why the dogs would want to offload Barba. You don't get rid of the Dally M player of the year unless there is something rotten in Denmark. I have heard a rumour which I won't give legs here but if true we wouldn't want him.

Yep. Have heard that he is a real bad egg. Could be bs but the bloke I heard it off has close ties to the doggies and if its true I wouldn't want him anywhere near our club.

Any chance of a PM from either or both of you about what you've heard?

You are easily one of the most hypocritical posters on this forum Ck. You'll defend your golden boy against every single negative comment posted, **yet won't give a young kid with a great future ahead of him any credit whatsoever even if your life depended on it.**

Its funny, you couldn't cop Lui either. And what one thing do Lui and Tedesco have in common? they both in the past have been in a positional duel with your golden boy. Its no surprise you talk/talked them down at every opportunity

Do you EVER read comments before you go off on your half baked rants?
I'm sorry if , in my opinion , I think Barba is at present a far superior player.
I've , on more than one occassion , said I hope Tedesco gets his mojo going and shows us all what the talk is about.
He does show lots of potential.
He has shown great courage and is wonderful at looking to support other players.
He has also dropped a few sitters and missed a lot of tackles that have led to tries.
If you really think Tedesco has lived up to all the hype surrounding him then you're deluded.
As for your other ridiculous effort to bring Moltzen into the debate again…. wake up.
Lui's defence was not up to first grade standard (and still isn't) .
This thread is about the possibility of Barba being here - and ,although I seriously don't think it will happen , we would be crazy not to take him.

I guess its just a happy coincidence that you are pretty much the only one on this forum who hasn't seen anything that impresses you about Tedesco and the president of the Moltzen fan club

So far he's played about 8 games, coming off a knee reconstruction and has done pretty damn well under the circumstances. His ''mojo'' is just fine.

I can't believe what people are saying…

I preface this by saying I dont think there is much chance he will come here.

BUT we'd be out of our minds to think he would not better our side. The bloke is one hell of a footballer.

I read somewhere that he was a flash in the pan....load of rubbish, he has been an exceptional talent (orignially as a half) for about 5 or 6 years, he was amazing at under age level and last year he was out of this world good.

A terrific player that any club would be lucky to have. I think Tedessco is the real deal and will be a very good NRL player, and may go on to be top of the tree, Barba is already top of the tree.

As for the bad egg comments, most of the stuff that was reported is a load of crap. (shagging team mates wives and stuff) From what Ive been told, which is admittedly second hand, but from inside the club, is mostly self destructive behaviour as opposed to anything real bad.

I would not direct a large chunk of my salary cap at a no1,but to suggest Barba is not better than what we have is madness.I think Nofo would be our best option a fullback, fearless under the high ball, runs the ball with plenty of power and defensively strong. Not sure if he has the ability to get up to second receiver and ball play like Hogo did but on that note I have not seen Teddy ball playing either.

Anyway the bottom line I really think we are well covered for no1s and the money should be directed elsewhere, would hate to loose a player like Woods because we dont have the cap space to match other offersl

I have it on a very reliable source that there is some real friction within the team over Barba….he has effectively split the team down the middle...what he did is immoral and unforgivable..(although not against the law) .The Doggies want to offload him big time...he has a huge head too....Do I want him at the WT?....nope...

I'm still unsure whether we should be forking out huge bucks for Barba

Tedesco has a lot of improvement left in him and is on far less bucks than Barba

For some reason Barba just reminds me of Ewan McGrady

Does any of the old brigade that remember McGrady agree ??

Barba is a champion player… all class. I don't give a stuff what he does off the field providing it is not illegal or a chargeable offence under civilian law. Tedesco/Blair are run of the mill average players and will never rise above that. Barba is a champion and players like him are very few and far between. If we are really serious about recruiting him and having a go at a premiership then throw everything that we possess at him.

Remember Ewan Mcgrady well , in the early 90's got the Dally M player of the year can't which year though , very talented and very elusive player .

Des wants Barba gone. I believe it has nothing to do with anything within the team, more on the home front. Make of that what you will.

I know everyone is giving Barba huge wraps , but if you put Tedesco behind that huge Bulldogs pack he would be just as effective

And i wonder if Barba would dog it behind our pack

At least you know that Tedesco will put it all on the line win , lose or draw

Stick with Teddy and focus on getting an experienced prop and or centre ,that is where our problems lay in my opinion

yep, most average players make city origin after 5 NRL games. Most of 'em debut at 19 at fullback and most of 'em start running 150m+ at fullback in a team that loses 7 straight.

Not saying he'll play for Australia or Origin but he COULD. I think he'll be a standout player, just off those rep honours and maybe even achieving them through injury.

I'd love for him to do one better than my prediction and be a origin shoe-in at the no. 1 though.

We've made the mistake before of letting our young talent go so we can sign a big name player, let's not do it again. Signing Barba would be like Blair all over again.

Dogs players didn't seem to have many issues with Barba as they swarmed all over him after scoring a couple if tries,he old not have a bigger head than Benji surely
