Rumour - Mahe to Debut

It’s the eels wingers who will need to look out , especially if it’s Bevan French

If he's play on Noffa's side it's George Jennings, If he plays on MWZ's side it's Bevan French. Would love to see him smash either one.

I would like to see how he goes.
Only problem may be that (if MWZ is out) we may have two shortish winger 3/4 one who can’t defend and another that can’t catch..
But yes give him a go …. I may be surprised with the result I suppose.
Hail Mary ..... etc. Etc. Etc.

Sure he will get us meters but his error rate is terrible.

Maybe he has too much time in ISP to think and makes errors but when he hits first grade he won’t have time to think and errors will reduce - lets hope so

That might just be the case, He was never known to make that many errors when he played in the Super League or when he played first grade for Melbourne back in 2014.

I'm not surer this really is the case. I've watched a lot of ISP and he fights for every metre, often with two or three defenders grappling and pulling at him. This inevitably leads to occasional loss of possession, sometimes as a result of dubious ref calls. Yes, he has dropped the occasional bomb but, then, what winger hasn't? In my view his positive contributions far outweigh his mistakes and he deserves a chance in the NRL.

Yes, but he also wins us a lot of penalties as they try to stop him. He just keeps going like the Duracell Bunny with a Mullett!

think you'll find George is on MWZ side and Bevan on Noffas side.

Yes George Jennings plays on the left which is Malakai's side but I meant if he plays on Noffa's side which is the right he'll have to face George Jennings.

Wouldnt mind seeing how he goes. He is either going to be our Radradra or our Manu Vatuvei. . .

Which is the bad one?

Obviously vatuvei and his ball handling

Had some major issues in the past even though he was a beast with ball in hand

Scored over 150 tries in 220 odd games. I wouldn’t be complaining if Mahe does half of that for us.

Yes i agree he is awesome with the ball

Just saying what I thought the patriot was referring to

Would love mahe fonua to have vatuvei attacking stats without his handling errors in the NRL

Mahe did manage to score 24 tries in 50 games for Melbourne and and 28 tries in 52 games for Hull FC.

How about Radradra or Keith Lulia? That thought scares me..

Who? Our 4 try hero?

Try again

Oh I remember the 4 try haul, everyone was stunned.. Not enough to redeem him of the mediocrity from the other 99% of his games though..

The only real way I see Fonua being a big advantage to us is if we dominate possession. His hitups will get our sets off to a good start. The big worry is his ball handling and ability under the high ball. He can certainly cost us a try.
