I agree that Robbie doesn't deal with things well at times, but it really seems like a no win situation, he has fans on here asking left and right to justify his actions in what they perceive as a lack of leadership and abandonment. But when he offers the simple explanation to end speculation he cops it about they way he handles criticism.

Can someone please post the screenshot of the tweet that advised him to leave so quickly via a side exit after the game and let the rookies digest the loss amongst themselves.

Man oh man when will it end. Its sooo soooo sad really. After such an awesome win against the bulldogs things have gone from bad to worse and it looks like were going to be dealing with it until the end of the season. Just sack them all please and move on !!

All the speculation about why he did this or that is just that - guesswork.
There's not one person on this forum who has bled for and invested so much into this club as Farah.
Maybe it's worth giving it a little time for everything to come out in the open before the jackals eat their leader.

TIGERS skipper Robbie Farah’s deteriorating relationship with club management was presented with another challenge on Tuesday night, after he took to social media to reveal he was given the opportunity to skip Monday night’s press conference.
Under heavy fire for continuing his silence after the loss to Melbourne, Farah responded by tweeting a text message from Tigers PR man Brock Corfe, which suggested the club could “make it easier” by making 150-game prop Keith Galloway face the media after fulltime.
Sent to Farah at 1:07pm on Monday, Corfe’s message read: “Hey mate, just thinking about the post match press conference tonight. We might just throw Keith Galloway in there because it’s his 150th game for the Club and make it easier for you? Let me know what you think mate. Cheers.”
Tigers officials were shocked and disappointed over their captain’s decision to expose the text, but Farah felt he had no choice but to reveal his no-show came at the club’s instigation after being so heavily criticised for not breaking his silence on Monday night.
As well as failing to attend the press conference, he also refused to speak with waiting media outside the dressing room and left Campbelltown Stadium at the opposite end to the main carpark.
Farah will speak-out on Thursday night on The Footy Show, after shooting a tell-all interview with Phil Gould on Tuesday afternoon.
He only agreed to the interview after Nine pledged to donate $20,000 to former teammate Simon Dwyer’s rehabilitation.
The 30-year-old is expected to lift the lid about his tattered relationship with Tigers CEO Grant Mayer, whom he believes failed to offer immediate public support following his stoush with Gorden Tallis two weekends ago.
Mayer’s initial silence deepened Farah’s suspicions that a section of management wanted to paint him as the driving force behind moves to sack coach Mick Potter.
He was also upset the club had edited a previous press conference in which he expressed support for the besieged coach.
The pair have not spoken since Tallis accused Farah of orchestrating the campaign to have Potter sacked.
Farah is due to return to training with the team at Concord Oval on Thursday morning, which could see them come face-to-face.

Some people here are so judgemental without knowing any of the facts. I can understand why Robbie didn't attend the post conference after the game. The media would have gone in to a frenzy. I can't understand all this negativity about Robbie all of a sudden. He's a decent human being ( since loosing his mum he seems to me to be more venerable, emotionally wise) his always been a great player and puts in every game. And as our team captain he is second to none in my opinion. He always questions the refs bad decisions, sticks up for his team mates and club e.g(Matty Johns saying our team is soft) To me Robbie comes across as an honest and non pretentious man who doesn't fake anything and speaks his mind . May be some people don't like him because of it. With out him in our team we would be fighting it out for the wooden spoon. Thats my rant for the night….. :neutral_face:

Robbie made a song and dance about it….leaving the way he did....

It wasn't a good look was it …. Having said that the standard of journalism, particularly from the Murdoch press, is so low you can't really blame him for running off. At least Simon got 20k from the interview with Gould so something good eventually came out of it. Once Mayer goes, the Independants get appointed and a new coach installed ... Hopefully we can finally move on.

Spot on. The old gutter press trick is to shove cameras and microphones in your face if you don't want to talk to them, and then they'll film you leaving and edit it together to look dramatic. As you say, Robbie chose not to talk to the press, which is fair enough, and then he left the stadium.

I don't know Robbie, I'm not going to try and guess his state of mind, but it isn't a great look when you use other people as shields. You don't need to find an excuse every time someone questions you.
I would have had more respect if he simply said "After the intense media speculation last week, I decided not to attend the presser and detract from discussions about the Storm game."
Or even better, attend the presser and give straight-bat answers, or simply "I have no further comments about that issue."
I've never been under media scrutiny before, but I would imagine it only gets worse if you don't confront them. Reminds me of young MacDougal bolting over a fence when he was about to get done for failing a drugs test.
