It was only a matter of a couple of months ago when most were raving about how great Kidwell and Payten were. Potter was rarely given credit for how well the team went. Now they have a losing streak of what….4 games and they all have to go. My understanding is that Potter didn't have a say in who his assistants were this year. Nor has he got the team he would ideally want. A coach of two years is still bound by pre-existing contracts of players. Couple this with more injuries than can be reasonably expected at the beginning of a season and a captain/media circus, an internal leak from high places, a board with no clue and a CEO with an intelligence factor of a teenager and Potter hasn't had a chance in hell of keeping the team on track for a finish to the year that would keep everyone happy. It's farcical to suggest any of this is Potter's doing. Give him control of the roster and a few people above him that he can trust and things will change dramatically. But of course, that means another few years at the helm. Alternatively, Sack him, bring in another rookie coach, and we go through the same garbage for another two years until he's sacked and round and round we go.
