He means the press are saying his best mate is Packer, good mates with Lolohea, apparently a very popular guy we are led to believe.

Oh, BS. Any judge would have sent him to prison for what is an aggravated serious assault. As for coward's punch, they get what they deserve by being sent to prison but Packer's crime was much more serious.
My view on Packer is that prison is for rehabilitation as much as punishment and if he has truly been rehabilitated, then he should be allowed to move on with his life by playing professional football.

He was no angel in prison either…..very high needs

There are a lot of vermin running around in the NRL, at least Packer has done his time in the clink whereas other players both past and present got barely a slap on the wrist. If he is gonna crush heads on the field it may as well be with WT I say.

Funnily enough things aren't as simple as 'squat and cough' in gaol.
 
What is all the fuss, he made a massive mistake, he paid a high price for his actions that he he now has to carry for life and now he is back on the straight and narrow.

I would not hesitate to sign him, we are winners because we get a good footballer and it sends a good positive message out into the wider community about our club, he is a winner because he gets a juicy contract and he is a good role model for kids who have stuffed up

Packer's personal attributes aside, this is a good signing for us in my opinion. He has plenty of mongrel and I think he's a better signing than Matulino.
 
The way I see this playing out. Is Dugan signs with Cronulla then packer will stay. I hope I am wrong. We need Dugan to stay at dragons to get packer
 
Lets not get too excited. It was only a few days ago lolohea was on the bus. Now he is on a horse with a hat.

I can't see the Dragons letting go of an origin level fullback to keep a front rower when they have Vaughn, AhMau, Debellin, Sims under contract. He's overpriced but fullback is important. Sharks are not serious it's a play to stir drama before this weeks game.
 
Welcome aboard Packer…now if you can start getting up to 40min + a game that would be good...

Either of them are better than Woods..both of them for Woods money is doubly good….. no regrets

Instead of chastising Woods signs we should make up signs thanking him for leaving...
