you must be crazy!!!!!!

Sheens signed a three year deal at the end of last season. He is going nowhere.I really think at the end of last year was the time to make the change but on the back of two good years the board decided he was the man. I think Peter Gentles will return from the UK in a few years and take over the ship.

I don't doubt Sheens ability to coach but all coaches have a use by date, although Bennett never moved from the Bronks for years he did make major changes to his support staff every few years.

This post has been going on for years and probably been done to death as nothing is going to change till Sheens decides he has had enough, but even his biggest fans must now be wondering how can such an array of talent performs so poorly for such long periods. Lets face in his whole time at the club the team has had three winning streaks mixed with a lot of sub standard efforts. Other teams turn up three weeks out of four. I suppose its just the nature of our beast, with the very good comes the very bad and not much in between.

Iam not writing off 2012 as we can only get better where other teams are nearly at their potential but I do think we need a lot of new faces in the coaching departments just to change the place around, everyone is too set in their zone

Just say Sheens arrived a work in a couple of weeks with WTs form not improving much and he decided to throw his hand in and retire. **Who of any quality and experience is available to replace him?**

Does anyone seriously reckon that the Dragons are going to let him go to come back to us?

You've all got rocks in your head.

Sheens isn't going anywhere anytime soon which is a good thing as far as i am concerned.

Thinking maybe Tod Payten will step up in a few years with Sheens as coaching director.

I think most of the problems are with some of the senior players not following the coaches game plans. Sheens would be a huge loss, and anyone else who takes over coaching this team will suffer the same problems and issues.

A good example is Parramatta and Souths.

Coaching director what a joke your either the head coach or nothing ..look at Penrith ,who is the coach there Gould/Cleary who is the main man? A head coach is that has all the say not have to go to Sheens and ask if thats ok could you imagine that….like that would all work out.

I have always been a Sheens supporter but can't help but think he is losing the plot here. He really hasn't done his supporters any favours lately, especially with his team selections.
However, before I say replace him I have to look at the alternatives…and I would still rather have him than any of the above. And by a fair margin.

When I read the 'seriously' I thought, this will be interesting but then I read the 4 names and well I agree with you Siro.

Sheens has made 3 finals appearences in 9 seasons in comparison, how is that record any better? Folkes is a premiership winning coach, Anderson has proved himself here and overseas, i'd say your letting the way Parra shafted him cloud your judgement over his ability. And Nathan Brown is doing well overseas. Its easy to just brush suggested alternatives off without giving reasons as to why. I'd be interested as to hear why you'd object to Anderson and Folkes
