Eddie, we are talking Tim Sheens mate, he will never walk while he has a contract in his hand. He could be pushed and takes the payout but he will not walk.

He did look a shattered man, but after next week end their will be no media focus as that will be pointed at the final teams and he will go away on holidays and come back a refreshed man ready to do it all again in 2013 with all the same methods that failed him in 2012 and much the same playing strength at his disposal but a year older.

I also think the club would probably like him to stay one more year so they can try and attract the right person for 2014 and may try and do a sweat heart deal, and that makes sense when you think of it.

Interesting times ahead and with the players he has at his disposal it would be hard to see him not improve in 2013

That does make sense leave the loser as coach next year as he might not

Write to the club
Vote at the agm for a new board

WT's are a private company and don't have members to vote at an AGM. The board is created via appointment from the various football clubs who make up the ownership provenence of the WT's.

Writing to the club is futile… You would be better off writing to Sponsors telling them you will boycott their products... I'm sure the CEO will listen to them!

He probably is thinking these things..

And then Realizes he is getting paid for 2 more years good or bad.

I can't see him resigning, he has the Australian team to coach and then prepare for 2013, but I suggest the club look at employing a psychologist or motivator of some sort because Wests Tigers problems are in their heads imo.

I'm sure some on hear are probably thinking about contacting Tracey Grimshaw or Liz Hayes… :unamused:

Petitions are for Whinges! :bawling

As stated in another thread, talk is cheap... Money speaks louder than words. :bulb:

They listened when the fans allegedly whinged about Mason coming.

I'm not spending a cent on the club next year. No membership, not attending the games, not buying any merchandise. The final straw was Simmons coming back.

With the way we've played this year, hopefully we only draw two or three FTA slots and I can watch the games live on Fox Sports on Saturday night/early Sunday arvo without having to listen to Hadley or Rabs drone on.

What makes you think the club listened to 'fans' in the Mason saga? Simply because fans made noise doesn't mean the club listened to them…

From my understanding, it was 'sponsors' who made the correct noise in ensuring Mason was overlooked?!

Im a voting member of both wests and balmain boards who ultimately feed in so those are the agms I mean…

Also I think petitions and writing to the club does create some level of noise which can only be a good thing!

So far change.org has 125 signatures but needs to be 1000 methinks

Change coaches every yr? HE'S BEEN HERE FOR BLOODY 10 YRS, how does changing a coach after that long put us up there with Parra? OMG thats the biggest cop out i've ever heard from any Sheens lover anywhere, and in one of your very first posts as well

Heres an idea, instead of renewing membership, spend that money on advertising the petition on facebook, surely it will get the signatures then….easy to target tigers fans who dont use this forum, cos even oldies use facebook.. So heres its chance to be useful

It was a tongue in cheek comment Watto. I know the club didn't listen to the fans, but wasn't that the story trotted out? That the sponsors and fans made noise and didn't want him?

I know that the club never listens to us. They'll lose a good grand or two out of me next year in lost sales in memberships and merchandising.

I think the message we have to get across, is we are not a wild mob that want to drag him out of Concord and stone him. Rather we think he has done great things for the club and Rugby League and seems a champion person but for what ever reasons his methods are now not working and this has been the case for a long time so we need change.

People will always remember 2005 and to a lesser extent 2010 and 2011 but we have to move on with a new direction and a new voice
