Elgey has James Roberts, Anthony Don, Aiden Sezer, Josh Hoffman and David Mead, plus some decent forwards. Yeah, only Roberts and Sezer are real quality out of those guys but the others are still walk-up starts on our team. Kevin freaking Naiquama is our saviour!

There has been a linkage problem for our wingers playing the fill in centres we have been of late. People will be suprised how much more dynamic we will become with Simona and Nofa back.

Hard not to agree on what we have seen over the last few games…........ But it won't be happening.

I cannot see where we are heading with this style of play though. It seems a very negative style given the talent we have.

Yep we keep getting told about how much young talent we have. Some are using NYC form as a gauge on NRL futures.
It's only in this club , that players could be be bought up to the top grade , and not be accountable for their continuous non performance. Any tiny spark is grabbed in desperation to somehow justify the over the top build up that these guys got.
On what we have seen so far, there's very little improvement shown.
Tedesco has proven himself , and Cherrington has has a good start, but in his case it's still only one game, and I hope the expectations are kept within reason

We don't always agree Hoddo, but that's exactly how I felt in the last few weeks,
I've been a nutcase about first Wests, and then Wests Tigers forabout 50 years, And I noticed last year not being devastated if I missed seeing one of their games, which felt weird.

Till I read your post, I hadn't thought about how it felt watching tonight's game, but " no emotion" probably sums it up recently, I want them to win, but it didn't feel crappy when we didn't,
It just didn't seem a big deal anymore.

I have said before and I will say it again,even though some on this forum will shoot me down again….I will not buy into this so called defensive structure that must be strictly adhered to because that's what Taylor is building this teams strength on...it's a road of the teams demise if it continues the way it is going..for example the game tonight the WTs let in 3 soft trys the defense was pitiful,the left edge was pitiful,and don't say it was all Pattycakes fault because on a couple of occasions he had three opposition players to mark while Brooks and co were huddled and left a gap..where was the defensive structure then...I will tell you..theses young players are getting bored quicker than us the supporters and are probably sick of the same gameplan week after week...so what's my answer...here it is...when the young players played what was infront of them,we attacked and came up with points and a couple of disallowed trys,the effort was there for all to see....this is their game,as for defence you learn how to tackle and mark your man from an early age,if these guys don't know that by now,then Im afraid there is no hope for them at all...

Some on here will say that I have been negative toward Taylor's coaching,I don't care about his coaching CV,he is here for the duration because we can't afford anyone else or to pay him out..we are stuck with him and that's about that...he may surprise me with some different tactics and if he does good for him...I can see the team keep going backwards if Taylor keeps this crap up....when you have commentators such as Joey Johns saying "the young ones need to play what's infront of them" and our coach restricts them,then no wonder Johns is in the hall of fame and JT won't get to within a bulls roar of the hall of fame,then questions really have to be asked...Yes Iam disappointed with tonight's game and the result,however,I realise Simona and Noofa will inject some class and speed back in the team and Lawrence can stay in the backrow,he did extremely well tonight...

Just for the forumers who can't wait to tear into me I will say it again,this defensive structure is hurting the attacking potential of this team,I dare say if JT doesn't let them play to their game and that is what's infront of them,we may even lose the young guys to other clubs...Taylor must formulate a game plan other than what we have witnessed for weeks,for the good of the team and the good of the club that Iam very passionate about...

Why not just start paying out another coaches contract kt like we have money to throw around joint… its not happening and lets be honest we cannit afford to do something like that.
Taylor is a deadbeat who is too stubborn to change his ways to suit the needs of the team. Once we threw the ball around we didnt look as bad as we previously have but geez i wish we held onto Potter. A settled backroom and not as many injuries would love to have seen how he could have gone. But would love Tooves. He could do wonders with these young kids

I seriously think Potter was no better, he seemed to have no idea either.
We're stuck with JT,
Maybe they can get a minder for him like other clubs that have had coach problems
Eg. Daniel Anderson or someone like him( NOT Brian Smith)
But I suppose we can't afford that either

GCT, Potter looked like he had no idea because we were playing busted every week with no team and a mountain of injuries. Look at his record at the beginning of the season with a settled team and it shows that he had alot more going than JT. He let the kids play and play what they saw and hell we even put a bit of gusto into our play and looked like it just wasnt going through the motions. Moses was playing great under him, hell even Brooks showed alot more glimpses then what he does now.

Yes but Taylor is the one that is telling them to do these stupid mid field bombs, why don't we kick to corners like other teams do ?

I feel exactly the same. It is a sign of a true Tigers supporter - completely immune to happiness and disappointment.

I do feel plenty of emotion when they take money out of my bank account each month for membership.

Taylor talked his way into the coaching job with a load of waffle.He had been useless at Parra and Souths and yet the board swallowed it hook line and sinker.The man can not coach but the worst aspect of it is i believe that our young kids are going backwards under his coaching.If he really is under contract for 3 years then all i can see is 3 wooden spoons falling memberships and smaller crowds.

Nobody would want this but i think it is what we will get

With sheets and potter. ..regardless if how cap we were going…There was usually some redeeming features they both had you could see...that you could focus your support on....After half a.season with JT I see nothing...he's lost me already....I feel numb and.dumb watching us now...my mind wanders...I lose concentration and start thinking of other things...conversations take precedence over footy...I don't really care.much any more...I've the 7 year thing atend next week...hard to get excited for that...I see Broncos and roosters and my god were so far from there its sad...really sad
