Next best thing to the truth. Was mentioned on SEN this afternoon.
Benji was the coach who let this all happen though. The team as a whole have not played with the same urgency, they have not ran the ball and tackled as hard ever since.
Some players from have fallen away dramatically since that game.
I understand it’s the coaches job to get the players in the right frame of mind to play at their best or somewhere near it, but blame cannot be shifted off a fair few of the players who have let us down by not producing anywhere near their best since that game.
I am highly confident Benji will sort it out, give these non performers an ultimatum to produce their best on a regular basis or get out.
Do you have proof on that comment ?Benji was the coach who let this all happen though.
Continually picking Kepoa would support this theory, along with some of his other mind numbingly stupid selections, but I seriously hope he doesn't have dementia, it's a cruel diseaseI read on a facebook post that Sheens is apparently suffering early signs of dementia which is why he decided to pull the pin. No idea how true that is, and coming from facebook I take it with a grain of salt. But it would explain a few things.

I said all along that the boys club appointment was heading for disaster...this is the first step next I will bet Benji cant coach an NRL side without a top assistant behind him and we will further be embarrassed by this club...Benji was the coach who let this all happen though.
I like Kepoa. Thats the size of my bird brain.I agree that continually picking Kepaoa defies logic…
but who is picking the side though?
They should of taken you more seriously TrueTiger. How did you know?I said all along that the boys club appointment was heading for disaster...this is the first step next I will bet Benji cant coach an NRL side without a top assistant behind him and we will further be embarrassed by this club...
I also said many times that we need an overhaul from top to bottom but obviously Pasco and Lee rule the roost...changes need to be made sooner rather than later, punting Sheens is just deflecting from the main problems...the main problem being the ""BOYS"" club...
New experienced NRL coach with quality staff, overhaul of our depths and a professional culture all round and maybe we can be playing finals in a couple of years...as it stands I honestly dont think we make the 8 in 4/5 years even though we have a great forward pack...
I hope Im wrong and will still support the club no end,but there really needs to be an overhaul from top to bottom so we can compete at an NRL level and get rid of the basket case syndrome we have been in for years...
Everything is geared towards his takeover. No decisions that will affect him were made without his approval.Do you have proof on that comment ?
Thats more a reflection of how unprofessional the rest of the squad are. That they could get themselves up to that level to support and farewell a mate but can't be bothered any other week to support each other.Which player was released right after that game?
I think you will find it’s a very different approach from Benji once he has full control and doesn’t have to justify any decisions he makes ti anybody else.Everything is geared towards his takeover. No decisions that will affect him were made without his approval.
Sheens said time and again “Benji wants him” etc when discussing players.
It is naive to suggest this side improves with Benji in control a year early. His efforts this year have resulted in 3 wins so far.
Cause the office doesn't have their heart in it. A truckle down effect.Thats more a reflection of how unprofessional the rest of the squad are. That they could get themselves up to that level to support and farewell a mate but can't be bothered any other week to support each other.
He will have to justify the losses though week to week.I think you will find it’s a very different approach from Benji once he has full control and doesn’t have to justify any decisions he makes ti anybody else.
I’m certain Benji will be a great coach, get behind him and give him a fair chance.
