I do think he would be good in pathways spotting talent, but he is 70 and has been out of the game here for far to long, to be telling Hartigan and Madge how to suck eggs?
In his last year as coach we came 10th, which was a really disappointing. In 2010 and 2011 we finished Top 4. Sheens was always an innovator and the new rules suit his style down to the ground.
I like Hartigan and think he should be retained at all costs. I hope he, Sheens and whoever we sign to be coach next year can work well together.
It will be Madge, he still has 2 yrs to go.
There is no chance in the world he'll be here in 2 years. If the board hadn't been stupid and extended him last year he'd be gone already. He's only still here so they can save face.
Is that what they told you?
No, but I watch the games as they do, and only the most rusted on Madge supporter would think he's doing a good job. He's a wish.com version of Jason Taylor.
But you think the players are performing at NRL standard when they get out on the field?
