I would love to see Sheens over see the appointment of Robbie Farah as head coach.

The combination of the two would work imo. Farah having never been concerned about being popular and making friends would put an end to guys like Moses who have never been dropped. He would make the tough calls in a heart beat and his heart beats for this club.

Sheens over the top of him would be the perfect mentor and cover the areas he may be lacking like recruitment.

2023 should be the target but id be happy if i woke up tomorrow and this had happened.


Anyone else loving that in 2021 we are discussing Sheens and Sheenius level appointments like RF being head coach with Sheens overlooking. Something reassuring about this lunacy.

Yeh five years ago it was Farah who was the reason we were not thriving Some convinced he was running the club sacking coaches and divisive within the playing group. Got bagged for being angry at halftime when the team wasn't performing and upsetting the playing group. Even got blamed by some for Tapau leaving.
Fast forward mostly forgiven wish we had more like him - and we are still not thriving and still looking at individuals to shift blame on.

Baloney. Just because he's private doesn't mean he isn't respectable or has no personality.

Wayne Bennett is drier than the Sahara and publicly cantankerous, but doesn't seem to impact his ability to be liked by his players. Brad Fittler seems quite popular, not a really good club coach though. Some other coaches VERY well liked, not good coaches either.

Lol Wayne Bennet is one of the most loved coaches in the history of the game. Thats based on reports of pretty much every player who played for him.
