It's great West Harbour will be closely aligned with WTs via the use of facilities. It will provide a good opportunity for WTs to look at young RU talent!

Actually the West Tigers put at least $10m of their money into the project

Also, please remember this is just not a COE for the Tigers. It has multiple uses from indoor netball/basketball courts, community centre, creche, West Harbour rugby, a local soccer team. So the local and State govt have provide probably 1/2 of the new Concord complex to other sports and community requirements

And all of that just happened by itself?

Don't get me wrong the Tigers were the major driver for this to happen but there were many other groups assisting this push for the upgrade. You may not realise this but West Harbour rugby have the lease on Concord oval and do for another 10 years. They were also heavily involved in the design for the new stadium

I'm fully aware of West Harbours involvement at Concord... But seriously, It's "West Harbour"

Lol
How many players from West Harbour are currently in the Australian squad and how may others are currently playing for other international teams. Don't diss a club you nothing about champ.

Who Knows, Maybe all of them....
I can tell you how many people care,
It's Rugby - Zero.

For mine... West Harbour should be very thankful Wests Tigers got the facility rebuilt for them to frequent.

They are thankful to the Local and State governments, (West Tigers did not pay for Harbour's portion of the rebuild), but as I stated they are the leaseholders and have been for more that 120 years.
When you disrespect another sport and a club as you did in your posts I have an issue with that

That's OK, I'm not here to glorify a lower level 2nd tier Rugby team. If the Tigers weren't at concord for as long as they have been... It wouldn't be kept the way it has been - And it certainly wouldn't have been re-developed.

"It wouldn't be kept the way it has been"

I don't think you have ever been to Concord - the oval was superb but the facilities were disgraceful. Before the last game was played saw part of the roof come off. Eastern grandstand was completely unusable - toilets didn't work, holes punched in walls. The Scoreboard had not worked for 5 years
Yep well looked after.
It had to be either closed or rebuilt

It wouldn't have been rebuilt without the Wests Tigers.

Definitely not to the quality and level of what it is now - the new facilities as I have said are amazing for all the users of Concord oval - and thx does go to the Tigers for that

I always looked at Wests RU as like a cousin to Wests Magpies, growing up in Ashfield as a Wests Jnr.... Many many players criss crossed between the two

And even Wests Tigers - Loti Tiquiri and if you remember Taqele Naiyravoro played for both clubs

What happened to Taqele Naiyravoro remember watching him in nsw cup was a monster did he kick on?

Played 2 games for Australia and many games for NSW. He holds the record for the most tries scored in a Super Rugby Season - 15 I think. Plays in Scotland now, still causing absolute mayhem

How many good wingers have we lost, Taqele, JAC and Koroibite. All gone on to bigger and better things

Wow, yeah if I recall Richards was holding him back. Coaches had no clue

To develop the kids and offer support to the coaches if they want it. Almost word for word how Pascoe described his role in announcing the appointment.
If the CEO knew what his job was back in June, then why be so vague?

I rarely watch Super Rugby and only Australia test matches
But I love Shute shield - the atmosphere is like going back to 70s League, a real tribal feel about it. Heaps of tries and the odd punch up as well

IMO Union is closing the gap now on league. At least the officials still officiate to the rules of the game in Union.....league is just Mickey Mouse make them up as you go.
