Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I thought it was 1.2 ?
I don’t believe Gould would have offered more than 1 million per season for him.
From what was reported, Dogs offered around 1.2 mil and Tigers possibly offered 1.3 (some media’s were saying it was same as Dogs) but if the figures are accurate, it really isn’t that much difference in money. Plus Tigers offered 5 years for Luai and Dogs offered 4. Luai himself said if Benji wasn’t at the Tigers, he was gonna sign with Dogs and play with his mates. Benji was the reason he decided to not follow his mates.

Again brother..... what was reported and what is real are 2 different things...

Re Luai there was talk his direct contract + 3rd party came to the same amount as the Bulldogs offer and then at the conference Luai & his Manager said comments re Tigers wasn’t the highest. They gain zero by saying it & weren’t told to say it so I will side with them over Hooper & Buzz.

Re Gould he pays big for players he wants it’s why Laundry gets involved in deals.

Anyway who really cares he is locked in and we have a quality player & one who knows how to win for 5yrs who picked us.

Take sentiment out of it, if you was his manager would you have recommended he sign with Wests Tigers or the Bulldogs on the same money ?
If I was his manager and suggested he sign with Wests Tigers rather than the Bulldogs on the same money, I would have felt like a criminal.

As a player manager I would’ve recommended the safe bet if asked & that would’ve been Bulldogs even if Bulldogs offered less.

Was very clear Luai though wanted to prove himself and commit to getting out of his comfort zone. When he spoke it wasn’t scripted or anything - Manager let Luai make the decision end of the day.

Either way he probably gets paid nearly double, his Manager did well.

Yeo is the lock...but in any case, Seyfarth tries very hard which is what matters. Luai is a believer.
Seyfarth is our version of what Matt Eisenhuth does for the Panthers.
Play a bit of NSW Cup, sometimes on the bench for the NRL team and the odd start in NRL when injuries hit the NRL squad,

Be yourself. You have nothing to prove. You're no ones mouthpiece. Stay true to yourself.

If you say so. You're quite an astute league analyst, so your comparison should be taken with that in mind. I've never played NRL, so I wouldn't know, nor wish to cause offense. Forgive me.

Latest on the Nof. is that he has not been named in Salford's 21 man squad for their game against St. Helens.
Interesting when you consider he was in the 21 last week even though they chose not to include him in the final 17.
Has Nof. been a Nof. again?

The video ref??
