Either way the tigers need to get this happening by end of next week or all these quality players that are on the market will be gone. Especially the cheaper buys in the forwards which tigers desperately need

Lolohea at fullback, widdop at five eighth, mautilino and packer. If that was to happen it would be moses who, tedesco who, woods who. It would be a fresh new start, new culture, where the players know the coach runs the team and its not about me, myself and i.

Do you have any info you can share on any player signings SG??
I thought you said you had some good news for us a few days ago.
 
whichever way you look at it and whoever we sign they will be mentored and coached well be Clearly

Personally i'd be filthy if Teddy walked out but i know there are plenty out there who can get the job done.
They just need to have plenty of heart and passionate about playing No 1

I was told Tedesco was re-signing figured it would of been announced by now.

New signing won't really be spoken about until the other 2 decide what they are doing. Massive difference in cap space as to whether they do or don't sign

No reason why tigers couldn't sign half those if the other 2 go. But clock is ticking need to make it happen. Personally I think tigers could be better off if woods and teddy don't resign. Better depth and structure

We are still better off keeping both but if they leave it's not the end of the world. I am not fussed about Woods a Packer, Matulino combination costs the same and provides more depth. Teddy is a big loss but you probably get Dugan and Lolohea for the same coin.

Big issue is can we attract players with all this negative media. McQueen is s good start.

If Tedesco & Woods end up staying would we really be able to sign anyone else? Or will McQueen be it? Won't help our backline any if we can't pick up a decent centre/winger.

With Moses gone and Farah off the books next year, along with guys like Hunt, Rankin, Grant, Edwards, Naiqama and a few others, yes we will still have some money.

Let's hope so! If they don't start making a move soon to secure a decent centre, five eighth and another forward then all the good ones will be gone. I'm not real sure about Cleary's 'pulling power', tbh.

I rather have woods stay but if hes demanding 900k, he best packed his things and go. Omg on nrl360 theres no point having woods there he doesnt answer any questions conviction its always a "thats a difficult one to answer" crap with him. imo he does not have the right qualities to be captain, i personally would have had moses as captain if he were to stay and woods were to leave but thats not the case anymore. If the rumours are true that tedesco and woods are being shipped as a package deal then as much as it hurts to say this tedesco should just follow woods out the door. On the plus side we'd save alot of money and we'd be able to fish for quality players to replace them though to me tedesco is irreplaceable.

Now the reynolds and johnson rumours i pray to god we dont sign any of the two, in some of the games johnson played last year he went missing throughout them and i swear there was one game where he ran for 20m the whole game just passing the ball the whole time. But now he has foran to play off the back of, he and brooks are similar they play off the cuff no one to calm things down like foran, they wouldnt complement each other. As for reynolds i just dont like the bloke. Widdop would be a good partner for brooks in the halves.

I say no to packer and lodge, wests tigers are building a good culture here and BLOODY SIGN NOFOALUMA ALREADY!
 
Jason Nightingale is also off contract next season. A very experienced international who certainly knows his way to the try line. He can play other positions as well - would be worth a look I reckon though he'd probably never leave St George.
