I'd be happy to make a 700-800k offer for Fifita at the Broncs. He's what we need and he's off contract soon. Given his age, fitness and ability that is a million times better than the contracts we've given Packer and Matulino, even if it's still overs.
He's mates with Mikaele. Maybe, somehow, someway he can convince him to come to us.

Right! Maybe you should have put a time frame in instead of assuming people would realise you’ve completely skipped 12mths worth of football...??

In reality the only likely outcome we have to improve the roster is the medical retirements of Mats and moving in form Mbye. Mbye has been good at centre but you have to lose players others want to get the cap room I can’t see anyone in big money any club would take.

The other players there might be a market for outside of mbye are nofo and marsters

I cannot see Chris Lawrence being re-signed into next year... I think at this stage it would be considered bad management, it’s very clear we need some hard hitting forwards...Unfortunately for Chris he becomes collateral damage with no room to be sentimental our roster has been screwed up well and truly by that idiot at Penrith.

Well, I was glad he was there last night or Manly would have scored another 5 or 6 tries.

I don't think many wouldn't agree, but we lack size, and I mean athletic size, players like Eisenhuth do not get post contact metres, Manly really exposed us last night, look at the metre difference, and the reason they got those repeat sets was the Manly forwards got to our area of the field nearly every set.

Thompson is not a fullback, he does not join into set plays, and Billy Slater said it all.

Masters needs to join the forwards, and recruit a top line centre. Got to feel for Jacob Liddle, you could tell that he was going to give it everything until his injury

No doubt we have problems in the forwards that need to be fixed but....

I would not be using the metres gained as a valid statistic from last night with less than 40% of the ball.

Eisenhuth should be the first forward cut and putting Masters in the forwards would be hopeless imo.

Is realistic, and certainly an improvement, Seizer is underated, and a goal kicker, would fix a few problems

If we are going to do another attempted overhaul on the cheap for 2020 I would be looking at players like:
- Cade Cust (off contract 2019)
- Brendan Elliot (off contract 2020)
- Isaac Luke (off contract 2019 - make him a cheap offer)
- Mawene Hiroti (off contract 2019) (goal kicker)
- Chanel Harris-Tavita (off contract 2020)
- Bailey Simonsson (off contract 2020)
- Herman Ese'ese (off contract 2020)

There's not much we can do about 2nd row, stocks are very thin. Find a good young prospect and back him...

I don't think you are being realistic about the players values and Sezer is much worse than Brooks. The people that say things aren't working so change is good always forget that bad changes will make things worse.

@WT2K I would love this but think he would cost us too much.. I have a feeling Coach might look at Issac Luke as a 1 year deal to start season and be a back up if Liddle comes back. Cheaper option
