Wayde on way out at Panthers
The Panthers have told hooker Wayde Egan he is free to find a new club in 2020. With Api Koroisau heading back to Penrith next year, and the club happy with rookie Mitch Kenny's progress, Egan is the unlucky man.

There are a number of clubs - including the Wests Tigers, Bulldogs and Warriors – on the lookout for a hooker next season. (NRL.com)

The Lurker: There's a big story brewing with the Tigers which you'd like to think won't impact this game on Sunday. But it's impossible not to think it will. At least four high-profile players are filthy with the way they've been treated in regards to knowing what their future looks like.

We know Matulino, Packer and Reynolds have been told they can find another club, while you would've seen on Nine news on Tuesday night club stalwart Chris Lawrence forced to take his story to the media of the ridiculous $100k offer he's received. When was the last time you heard Lawrence say anything negative about the club? It gives you an insight into how much he's hurting.

**There's another rising star, who has been outstanding in the backs for them this season, who is also close to going public with the way the club has handled his negotiations.** There's several reporters trying to get to the bottom of the drama to break it as we speak.

This makes no sense, there is no such player in our backline that fits this description. I can only think of Momo because of his ‘outstanding’ form of the past 2-3 weeks, but that’s hardly all season and he just got here! Marsters is the only other ‘rising star’ in our backline, but he has been well below form all year, even by his own admission. Talau maybe? But he’s only played 1 game! Honestly the media just make this crap up to stir the pot. Get away from us and go and do your lurking in the dunny you creep!

We don't need the off cuts or left overs from the also ran clubs of the NRL.

We have to respect ourselves as a club if we want to attract a better grade if player.
