TIGERS HIT LIST POST-LATRELL

Wests Tigers didn’t want to be left hanging while Latrell Mitchell made a decision on his future so they could further explore the player market if needed.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the club has drawn up a hit list of other backline targets who can play fullback including Anthony Milford, Matt Moylan, Scott Drinkwater, Zac Lomax and William Kennedy.

The other player heavy linked to the club is Josh Addo-Carr who previously played for the Tigers before his switch to Melbourne.

The Tigers have $1.7m to splash following the departures of Ryan Matterson, Ben Matulino and Esan Marsters, however that figure will drop once the signing of Luciano Leilua is made official, pending Trent Merrin’s release to St George Illawarra.

No way he has arthritis from what I’ve heard
Not worth the money when he could be sitting on the sideline for most of the season

Not to be a grammar nazi, but there's a big difference between

"No way he has arthritis from what I’ve heard"

and

"No way! He has arthritis from what I've heard."

This post reminds me of the difference in writing:
'Helping your Uncle Jack off a horse' compared to 'Helping your uncle jack off a horse'

![alt text](https://www.someecards.com/usercards/viewcard/MjAxMy1mMzRlOGU5MzM2YmM4OGFh/amp)

Which is totally dissimilar from "Calling Mike Hunt" ......"Calling Mike Hunt"

The Porkies movies have a lot to answer for sorry .....

Anyone surprised we haven't heard anything from the Mitchell camp

Wow, that brings back memories

Look if we could get Broncos or Sharks to throw in a chunk on Milford or Moylan I wouldn't be upset. Both of them are an enormous upgrade on Thompson. Just comes down to price ultimately. Neither of them are worth what they're on now, but heavily subsidised could be an option.

That's Bubba Kennedy's son.

That and Josh Jackson from the Bulldogs. He would be perfect fit for role model and mentor role of our young forward pack.

A BIG tick for DRINKWATER,LOMAX & KENNEDY
A BIG NO to Moylan damaged goods,Milford we have enough small build players. IF we could 2 or 3 players for the cost of a LM happy days

At their best Moylan and Milford are all class. I've seen nothing whatsoever to suggest Drinkwater and Lomax will be quality fullbacks. I've never seen Kennedy so can't comment at all.

Nick Cotric for fullback?

Off contract end of the year - 650k a year at fullback?

Would be good but would he leave Canberra or for that matter would Canberra let him go.

We set the bar low with Moylan. Even at his best there was nothing to suggest he is up with the top echelon of FBS.

I would rather punt on Dufty. A change of Club with Maguire might improve his attitude and defence.

I feel like if he was committed to us for 2021 - then Ricky wouldn’t mind letting him go and giving some others a crack as they’re pretty packed in the backs

Drinkwater,Lomax and Kennedy would all be works in progress all have shown that word POTENTIAL and would be valuable signings Kennedy showed good form for Newtown during the semis and grand final win

I second this, I don’t think Dufty is as bad as people think.....

He certainly has the speed and X factor and wouldn’t break the bank at all giving us the flexibility to bring in some forwards - and if he wasn’t able to perform it’ll be good to have him as depth

Might work .... he would definitely be up for a challenge to prove some people wrong. He absolutely gives 100% every time he plays.

I disagree re: Moylan. I think at his best he showed himself to be a class player. They ruined him by giving him the captaincy.

I don't rate Dufty at all, he's at Thompson's level.

Not much there....so ...

Where’s Latrell Mitchell, Arrow, JAC on that list?
Oh that’s right - they’re still contracted.

Now days it just does not matter if or when a player holds a contract. It just comes down to all parties to be willing and ready to negotiate a deal across existing contracts.
So posting “still available” player lists or proclaiming From rooftop that “there is not much left to sign” ..... is pretty useless excercise.

I respect your opinion but disagree. Dufty has speed, experience and is aware of his shortcomings. His run in with Graham post game is well known. He needs Maguire to bring out his best.

Almost every player in the league is on the market.

The two players we've been most linked to aren't off contract now either.

I'm not having a shot at the club with this comment , but that player has to want to come to the WT's ....it isn't as easy as some seem to think is ..if we haven't learnt this after the LM situation ....

I believe there are some old turnstyles up for grabs at LO we could have - rather than buy another one called Dufty.

Just a swinging door in defence plus all the other deficiencies he would bring with him.
