I really don’t understand how this is even logical? At the moment everyone agrees we need to get better . Johnston regardless of how much of an upgrade you think he is , is still an upgrade . LM is finding his way there regardless. If the rumours are true , he always was. Hence the “your not going to Souths” statement .

We had a crack to try and swing the pendulum . In US sports we would have swung a trade and hoped in playing out the year we would have been able to snare him. But all we could do was back the truck up and hope that was enough .
It wasn’t . So now we grab the upgrades we can find, in a bleak and weak player market.
The JAC ( hopefully) and lesser players like Johnston . Throw in some cap relief , front load the rest and we, are cooking with gas for the foreseeable future .

Johnston literally gives them about $200k in space when they have to pay half his contract for 2020. They need to move gagai and maybe even one more. This is probably why no one other than a couple media outlets have linked Souths and latrell. It’s gonna be hard work for them to make it work.

2. Us signing AJ clearly suggests we haven't got LM because guess what, they both want to play fullback

Tigers have in excess of 2 million to spend. More When reynolds is stood down. To think they could not get all 3 because of money when AJ is only going to be $150k on tigers books is stupid. Money isn’t an issue for tigers v anyone for the next 3 years.

Please explain how you figure this 2 million, because that coupled with the $300k for Suli, which was also reported as much higher at the time makes your numbers appear questionable.

Tigers were under by about 1 mil BEFORE matualino retirement. Benjis salary this year is TPA. FARAH off the books along with matto amd some over paid reserve graders. Tigers have some good moves to make. Reynolds mbye Packer etc won’t be retained tigers will be big players in 2021/22

So because everything you’ve said for 2020 is wrong, now you’re projecting into the future. Good luck - some will follow you and give you the notoriety you so desperately crave.

You have to admit , at the very least it’s shifted away from the razor blade , FML type stuff a week ago . If it’s rubbish , I dunno , at least it provides some positivity . It can get pretty dark in here at times

If true, I'm happy with the AJ signing. He has a lot of upside.

He's young, he's fast, he's scored 83 tries in 123 matches and with the right coaching I can see him taking his game to the next level.

12 tries in last 2 seasons, he’s lost that explosive speed guys have at 21. He’s cooked.

New club, new coach, new attitude. Fresh starts are as good as a holiday.

As much as I hate to say it... Mitch Moses is an example of that.

I’ve seen AJ finish tries well, rarely busts a tackle. Wouldn’t pay him over 180K

Yea , he played well if I remember correctly that 1 game. Made a line break from the 40 and scored under the black dot. Then he was dropped a few games later haha
