If Latrell isn’t coming to the tigers, I for one would be extremely proud of management if they take NO PART in assisting souths making cap space.
Johnston is already creating mixed feelings amongst the forum, I want to see the tigers stick to their Guns of wanting to make serious changes and changing our culture and image.
If Latrell doesn’t want to sign with Tigers, then let’s stay away from souths players, signing any of their players to create cap space for Latrell just makes us look weak.

Johnston literally gives them about $200k in space when they have to pay half his contract for 2020. They need to move gagai and maybe even one more. This is probably why no one other than a couple media outlets have linked Souths and latrell. It’s gonna be hard work for them to make it work.

Mate....LM is going to Souths or nowhere. Literally everything is pointing towards that.

1. If LM was coming here, we won't be after BOTH AJ and JAC
2. Us signing AJ clearly suggests we haven't got LM because guess what, they both want to play fullback
3. There's not a chance in the world we will get all three

Pick 2 of JAC and LM or AJ, then you might have a small chance of hitting the dart board.

Tigers have in excess of 2 million to spend. More When reynolds is stood down. To think they could not get all 3 because of money when AJ is only going to be $150k on tigers books is stupid. Money isn’t an issue for tigers v anyone for the next 3 years.

Find it weird that we aren’t looking at Arrow, it was reported we were throughout the season

I’m more worried about our forward pack, in comparison to our backline

If we had 2 mil, JAC and Arrow would be very much preferred

If true, I'm happy with the AJ signing. He has a lot of upside.

He's young, he's fast, he's scored 83 tries in 123 matches and with the right coaching I can see him taking his game to the next level.

12 tries in last 2 seasons, he’s lost that explosive speed guys have at 21. He’s cooked.

New club, new coach, new attitude. Fresh starts are as good as a holiday.

As much as I hate to say it... Mitch Moses is an example of that.

I’ve seen AJ finish tries well, rarely busts a tackle. Wouldn’t pay him over 180K

If you're only paying $180K for talent then we'll be fielding a CC team in 2020 .

He’s not in the top 10 wingers in the game, we need to stop confusing what players were with what they are

I don't agree. But that's my opinion.

At one point they were red hot favs for arrow. Not sure what happens there. Equally unsure as to why no props are on the agenda

It's more the logic of having the 3 then the money. See point number two of my post.

2 million? For 2020? Considering we are already nearly 1/6th of the way through this season, i don't see how.

Please explain how you figure this 2 million, because that coupled with the $300k for Suli, which was also reported as much higher at the time makes your numbers appear questionable.

Benji is included in the salary cap allotment...the NRL would not approve a contract totally outside the salary cap..

What is good come 2021 the 330K cap fine won't be there ...that is a decent FG player..
