Douehi has strong ties to the Tigers. Was a junior, still lives in the area and is good mates with a lot of their team. He often posts stuff with those guys.
Will be a big battle to keep him.

Make the kid an offer he can’t refuse

Didn’t we try that with LM, it’s not always about money sometimes they just want to play at successful club

Haha another week written off nice and early.

Who seriously tweets the CEO about signings? Haven't they got something better to do?

Or like the CEO is going to drop recruitment news on a reply tweet to Mr Randomsupporter

I actually think Pascoe is vocal most of the time regarding signings and who we are chasing. A lot has been said about the fact Pascoe could be keeping his cards close to his chest and there must be A class signings yet to be announced etc etc. But really, if you look at where we are currently, it supports everything he's said. We made play for LM (withdrew our offer and did not engage further) and missed out, we are interested in JAC and he's been honest about the positions on the field the club needs to strengthen. I'd doubt there will any surprise signings this season that we haven't already spoken about.

Not necessarily,
Depends on each individual
Newcastle,parra,bulldogs seem to attract players
I think the winning culture helps but.

From everything we know, the tigers withdrew their offer

I dare say LM is getting what we were offering just not on the books

Doueihi is somewhat limited in terms of potential positions. Wayne Bennett tried him on the wing for Souths' finals-opening loss against the Roosters, but later branded the move a "mistake". He can play in the halves, but won't with Walker and Adam Reynolds there, while the centres are already crammed.

Doueihi, fairly enough, won't feel inclined to hang around while Souths experiment with Mitchell at fullback. He is contracted until the end of next season but may agitate for a move, meaning the Rabbitohs risk losing a good player over a position switch that may be highly exciting, but may not work.
Douhei could be the ideal replacement for Benji playing

Rumours on other forums we are after Billy Smith now. Would be surprised if Easts lost him as well though.

if we're looking at Smith it would mean that Xerri to Easts is a done deal. Smith and Talau could be our centre pairing for the next decade if we manage to snag him.

We're just going to have to identify up and coming prospects in lower grades and protect them from poaching using lengthy contracts and good money. Risky as we know many fall away before a NRL career but we have to build from within.

Go all out for Doueihi. Even if it’s for 2021.

I believe he is contracted for 2020 & 2021 so we are unable to approach until Nov 1 this year Unless Souths give us permission.
Does not like good at this stage.

Ha if nothing else, Tigers are dangerously in the recruitment market now. Think about all the clubs having to fend off potential interest with this "war chest" we have.

You would have said the same thing about Roosters releasing Latrell to Souths 3 months ago.

Cannot tigers put in an offer now for Doeihi to play with the club in 2021?

Time to go in a very controversial direction for our fullback

Think I know who you're referring to. I'll grab the popcorn.
