Tigers offered Souths packer Eisenhuth and Elijah Taylor & we said no to all 3

pretty much confirms we're looking to move Eisenhuth and Taylor on at the end of the year when they come off contract. would like to see us throw Taylor's money at a decent 13, I think Seyfarth will end up in the front row.

Would love him, tall and nice big long strides....needs a couple of kgs on him tho and his defense needs allot of work but the talent is there

I think the community is a little over optimistic
We have a spine with 2 players that have a combined 37 nrl games, 0 with the tigers and 2 months to gel
We have a forward pack with little experience, sure they may have the size and the attitude but experience does matter; when do we milk a penalty or when do we go for a quick play the ball etc
Our captain is a fill in player, playing where ever we can fit him
Next year doesn't look too great either, Benji gone, Doueihi moving into the halves, new position to learn, plus a new fullback and possible a new hooker (cause liddle isn't going to last too long before getting injured again)

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing the tigers, we are building towards a solid team but the fan base is overly optimistic and will be calling heads to roll when the tigers dont finish the season with 18 wins.

I like what madge and co. is doing, it's heading in the right direction but just tone down the expectations to a realistic level

Given Pascoe signed Taylor himself on 600k due to his connection from their time at Penrith we should be able to secure a very good replacement for next year.

Finals is still a big ask in my eyes. We’ve got good foundations towards being a really good team but we lack consistency and we lack origin level players. Doueihi will go good at fullback and he played 5/8 his entire junior career so he won’t have to learn the role.

The biggest question mark is if our forwards will live up to expectations. They have talent but they all need to show it this year otherwise it’ll be tough

Definitely stuff to work on but has plenty of natural athleticism and ability

Sharks latest. Josh Dugan’s knee is shot. He has arthritis and worn cartilage in his knee. Surgery could be an option in a month - but that may keep him out for up to 9 months. The club made him available to rivals months ago. Manager to meet club tomorrow. @9NewsSyd @Josh_Dugan

Different type though. Dugan is just injury prone and tends to struggle to get back up once hit hard. Moses is more mentally weak...when things are going great he's a very good player but he'll never overcome adversity when his team have their backs against the wall.

A lot of those numpty's have been pretty accurate this offseason. Said AJ was going nowhere, said LM was a done deal (when we were still thinking he'd come here) and said AD was coming here when everyone was saying Roosters... there are some people on there that have seriously good oil..
