NRL have apparently given the warriors approval to sign players from rival clubs on short term loan deals according to the telegraph.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see a few of our boys sent there for a few weeks. Keeps them fit and gives them an opportunity to earn a spot in first grade.

I’m sure a lot of clubs would consider it. Not just us.

I agree it’s a good way to get your players some game time and see how they’re going. Warriors deserve the help too after the sacrifices they’ve made.

Interesting to see how long the hospitality lasts if the warriors start winning

I hope there is a clause stating that they cannot play against their originating team.

It’s bloody tough even for the best halves to be dominant if the forwards, hooker and fullback aren’t.

Brooks has been rock solid for us, everyone around him hasn’t.

Packer, Eisenhuth and Reynolds are being offered to the Warriors. Stefano may be released to Tigers from Eels. No reserve grade some teams are going to do the right thing allowing players to play.

As in released and signed by the Warriors or have the NRL changed their mind..?

Didn't miss a game in 18-19, only missed one in 2015 and 3 in 2014/2016. I'm not having a bar of Brooks being injury prone. Couldn't be further from the truth.

Well,we haven't seen Brooks this year ironically because of injury,but when we do we'll see a player with considerably more talent than the incumbent nsw half,and at least as much talent as the incumbent Kangaoos 9s half(Moses)...but somehow he hasn't developed as Id expected nor achieved as those others.
Sure Cleary playes hehind a great pack,but hes more solid in that he turns up every week even when the team loses...hes also a leader
Moses played behind a pack no better than ours last year,but had a blinder as has more confidence and better vision.Another leader,but unconstructive when losing
We keep hearing Farah cramped Brooks style...now Benji does..and so will the next one probably.....but Brooks needs to back himsel fand deliver more

And btw...does anyone REEALLY think he was the best half in the game over Cronk/DCE etc etc =to win Dally M half.is purely a quirk of the voting system when most WTs players solid but don't take votes offf him.Steve Bradbury 2.0...….!
If nothing changes this year he'll be fortunate to be in the top 8 halves in the comp after Cleary/Cronk/Reynolds/the raiders pommy import/DCE/Moses/the ex Sharks half at Roosters/whomever Melb plays/ Brodie Croft and Pearce

Croft has had the luxury of playing in well established teams too. Imagine what Brooks would've been like playing in the storm system.

too much crap put on brooks. Brooks is an above average half back playing in a below average team. He's not our problem at all.

It was pretty damn obvious how much we missed brooks in our first two games. Our attack was often unorganised and very sideways, Brooks is good at straightening us up and getting some control over what’s going on. Players themselves talk about how he leads them around

24 - I think after we signed Blore. Then 10 currently signed for 2022.

Brooks and Tedesco combined really well before he left. Who knows how that would have been looking a couple more years on. Anyway, Brooks imo has been stalled by changing coaches and a distinct lack of class around him.
