I don’t rate Luai. Sure he has his moments but he’s very rocks and diamonds - something we have too much of already in our club.

I think he's not too bad. It's hard to shine behind Nathe Nathe. He might be rocks and diamonds but he have plenty of rocks.

We should held on to matterson too

Do you get that he didn't want to play for us.

He would have sooked or tanked until we let him go.

The guy for us was dead.

Pretty sure ado Carr doesn’t want to play for Melbourne right now

I don’t mind the no6 at the Warriors who can’t get a run, young kid who also a very handy kicker. Can’t remember his name and too lazy to google it something like Taevea

Chanel Harris-Tavita?

For those wanting origin grade talent: would you seriously expect any decent player to want to come to our club? We show time and time again that we are soft. Until we develop some consistent mental toughness we will only attract old timers, fringe players or blokes wanting easy cash. Sorry but it’s true

Well said mate I have been saying this for a long time now agree with you 100%

Issac Luke to the Broncos...

How long were those two naughty dogs players rubbed out for?

No time frame was put on it..

Clubs would have to apply to the NRL to register a contract..

I missed that. He'd be a good pick up.

Yeah true, it still makes me wonder why though. He was so keen to join us, then boom...within half a season he hated being here and desperately wanted out. Everyone blames his relationship with Madge but I’m not buying it, something else must’ve happened. I guess we’ll never know the real story, but someone out there does.

Happens when one Coach signs you and then is replaced by a new coach

Yes true that does happen, but it’s usually a pretty quiet and amicable exit.

This guy made a lot of noise about his unhappiness, banging on about ethics and that he has to be true his ideals blah, blah - what does that even mean? If Madge is such a hard taskmaster, does it mean that hard work to become successful is not one of Matterson’s ‘ethics?’ I don’t think so! The guy came from the Roosters culture, you can’t be a slacker there (eh Latrell), and he certainly didn’t slack on the field with us either, so the excuse about him not liking Madge’s way of coaching just doesn’t wash with me. If anything I would’ve thought he’d be a perfect fit for Madge’s style of coaching.

Nope there is more to his exit than the excuse that was rolled out, imo. He intimated other issues and dissed the club in the process, and in the end even his teammates were very unhappy with the way he carried on. You don’t do all that if you’re only having issues with the coach.

He’d be a fabulous pick up if they let him back in! Really good at finding the try line from inside the 20 and very hard to stop.

He’s a really big loss for the Dogs, certainly one of their best when they were going well towards the back end of last season. They would’ve won more games if he was on the field more often I’m sure.

He did the wrong thing for sure, but some players have done far worse and they are still running around in the NRL now, so hopefully he can get back soon and we might be a chance to snare him.

Telecrap reporting this morning that Broncos half Tom Dearden wants to test his value on the open market WTS and Bulldogs interested he's highly regarded by the Broncos but feels trapped behind Brodie Croft

I reckon it's already been forgotten enough that it wouldn't make headlines for more than 1 day. . I'd be lobbying VLndy's.
