Foran back to Manly, hopefully there is a Garner for Schuster swap on the cards.

Would be nice but find it unlikely.

1. We said to many halves on the cards as part of our benji move on
2. THE_POM said few weeks ago no discussion about halves (cept for some sharks schmuck)

Can only see anything happening if reynolds or billy walters moves on

you'd have to think Billy would link up with his dad at the end of next year.

Makes sense and would save us few hundred k

What do we think about Tolman as a bench front-rower? Read an article about him being club-less and detected an air of desperation to keep going in NRL. Would he be worth it on a cut-price deal?

No.his dad is going to let us have Staggs so billy will be in the 17 at the tigers ?

He obviously has his issues in defense, but man he can run a great line outside Brooks. He's come up with a few clutch plays for us.

I second that, I don’t think either are the answer as starting second rowers, but I’d rather we released MCK. Happy for Garner to play the fringe bench second rower.

We have upgraded the pack . We have stefano , Blore , Tamou , that kid from NQ, multiple elite juniors recruited this year.

Tamou is a good start, but Blore and Stefano are rookies. I hope they live up to our expectations.

I don't agree Paws. We have had no problems scoring points. But we are monstered by most other packs. We just can't contain their momentum and we have trouble getting out of our own half. We need better forwards.

Apparently it was close last time I heard about it. We also have a couple of edge backrowers in lower grades. I honestly think Blore and Leilua , is a formidable second row combo , with McIntyre at 13. Blore and McIntyre make really good contact In defence. It’s rare , they are passive. Mikalele and Twal , really have to work on this , as too many of thier first contacts are Aaron woods level pillow . And it just kills any chance in winning the attrition .

Perhaps we need to expect more from those we have? You cannot coach pace and as we've witnessed with JAC, pace is critical in shutting down opposition attacks.

unlike some other clubs, apparently, the WT play according to the NRL rules. Ideally, we would buy at least: Papalii, JWH, Taumalolo, Heinrington, Staines, Drinkwater and JAC !
But a limited salary cap says the WT can not, the question then is how to distribute the limited resources.
IMHO the answer is obvious, like many games, year after year, show us - we are too frequently rolled through the middle, and allow too many easy breaks. Also, in the attack, because of the lack of go forward, our 'offensive' kicks are from 40m at best. These issues will not be sold by JAC, we had speedsters Tedesco, Simona, JAC but still suffered from the same issues. IMHO, we need at least one aggressive experienced prop and 2nd rower (e.g. A Paasi, Heinrington), and then think of JAC, Staines, Drinkwater etc.

I agree with what you have written. We've added Stefano, Blore and Tamou but when do Aloiai and company become accountable for delivering in defence? In addition, move existing forwards and then replace them. We now need fast backs and plenty of them.
