Can we now assume the rumour that Hastings has signed with us for 2021 is not true?

Why? It's been literally one day since the rumour came out. Things take time in rugby league - although I reckon it'll be for 2022 if we get him

It's been longer than that hasn't it? Maybe my memory is faulty. I haven't seen 2021 mentioned anywhere outside the forum, and surely Wigan wouldn't want to give up their star playmaker so close to the season kick off? For 2022 I think we're a strong chance though.

So you tell what has been substantiated. As far as I can see there's nothing. Even Mage won't substanstiate anything.

The only thing that can be substantied on this thread over the last few days is there is tremendous hatred for Cam. Whether that hatred is substantiated is also a matter of conjecture.

There are a couple of journos out there who get the good oil from WT. If they write an article saying it's close then that's substantiated.

Isn’t he related to Hastings or best mates with his manager or something like that ? I thought it was like any news that comes out Cronulla through buzz . Take it as a given , don’t believe anything about anything else though./

I'm making a point ...people are getting angry because Smith is being spoken about .....he is the best player available ......what do we do instead ...speak about that useless so and so Hastings for 20 pages and repeat over and over again he is puss .....

Don't mind reading about if and where he might sign, but surely there's a better thread than this one for arguing about salary cap rorting from over a decade ago. Maybe the Blore wrist injury thread lol.
