Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The Lurker somehow manages to have a strike rate of less than 0%. But if this was to be correct my money would be on Kyle Lovett.

Uh, Lovett is already gone mate. He wasn't re-signed.

As I wrote on Monday, Hull KR coach Tim Sheens is in town hunting down talent.

Now for an update.

I have been absolutely sworn to secrecy but I hear the former Kangaroos coach is looking at signing a Dragons halfback and Wests Tigers backrower.

Stay tuned.

I know it's the lurker saying this but still interesting to see who it may be. Might be a strong chance of Lawrence who Sheens coaches for about six or seven years

"Rowdy, I always knew you were a backrower…

And centre, 5/8, winger, prop and I think with an off season here you could be a great hooker who can play a bit of 7."

I would say Lawrence - great clubman but I think Cleary knows his best days are behind him and there are plenty of youthful options to choose from…

I would be playing hard for Cordner and Crichton.
Cordner is current NSW captain and had every attribute you would want in a leader and marquee player.
Crichton is the best forward prospect along with Hess currently in the game.

If we are serious we chase these two hard

No argument here.

I reckon we have a pretty good side as it stands now. Already the competition for NRL spots is fierce and we'll have some good ones in ISP. Still, speculation and rumour are what keeps this forum going over summer. Just love the froth and bubble of the rumour mill.

DT running with the story of Adam Doueihi and his debut for Lebanon. Apparently NRL clubs are chasing him and I hope we are as he is a Balmain Junior. A very good young half.

If you can believe this, Roosters apparently are chasing or have signed Junior Paulo. The success of the salary cap in levelling out the talent is remarkable. :unamused:

Not only NRL clubs…..
From FoxSports.com

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika will pay close attention to rising Lebanon star Adam Doueihi

WALLABIES coach Michael Cheika has a special reason for keeping close tabs on exciting young halfback Adam Doueihi during Lebanon’s run at the Rugby League World Cup.

Doueihi is Cheika’s second cousin and he’d love to see him back in the rugby union ranks.

A former Australian schoolboy, the 19-year-old graduate from renowned rugby nursery St Patrick’s College in Sydney bagged a vital second-half try in Lebanon’s thrilling 29-18 win over France in Canberra.

If it is Lawrence it will solve a problem for us and save face for Lawrence because, barring injury, I can't really see a place for him in the 17 next season.
