The club just updated their top 30 for this year and beyond. There are 8 spots left to fill for 2022. The list also confirms that Roberts and Joey’s contracts are club options for 2022. So that’s potentially 10 spots. There’s no way the club can carry both into next season. Roberts, I’m willing to give a chance to, depending on how his form is over the second half of the year. Joey can go now for all I care.

Agree but the club also needs to be careful how they handle Joey's exit as we want to keep his brother.. I would be trying to extend LL ASAP and that way it wont have an effect on his decision. Cannot see Joey been here next year unless he somehow starts playing like he used to for Raiders.

BJ has been rubbish and his brother has been ok in a well beaten team. What club is gunna pick up that combination? were not talking turbo's or Moriss's here. If LL wants to play with his brother so bad he can follow him to the Super league next season. If he wants to play NRL he can stick with Wests and facetime BJ on the weekends.

I would not be even considering keeping BJ after this year as he has been a real let down. I like LL and hope he is extended.

Be careful antagonising Luciano by being too harsh on Joey L. If we treat Joey like crap then Luciano could easily sign with another club for 50k or 100k less and a chance at finals or SOO
This needs to be done carefully by the club and the Leilua's

But what's to harsh? Not throwing 500k a season at his brother? Neither are good enough to be held to ransom. I'd hope Wests would be smarter than that. Players running the show never works out well.

if we didn't try and push talau to Melbourne for JAC then we need to wear the same kit gloves with the Leiliua's that's all. We don't need Joey at the club I just hope the club are decent about it that's all

For those who watch UK super league, does anyone have an opinion on Wigan centre Oliver Gidart who we are apparently chasing? From wiki I can see he is 6 foot, 24 years old and eligible to play for Italy based on mother’s heritage.

Wigan play Fri morning 4am on fox if anyone’s interested. Keen to watch Hastings for the rest of the year and now Oliver too.

This has me a bit worried. Too many potentially decent players off contract at the same time

He is slow.

Madden may not be the answer, but he is quick and has variety and vision. With a side that plays a 2nd rower centre (mck) a slow winger at 5/8 (Doeuhie) a future forward at wing and centre (TT) The last thing we need is a slow 1/2. Lack of speed is our biggest problem.

He is good, he would our best centre for sure. He may be eligible for Italy, but that's kind of irrelevant as he has been making the England side.
