I like the thought that you're a Wests Tigers fan who is looking for a positive, trying to see how our recruit for next year went.

It's hard to see many positives with our team atm.

A few people, last night, were calling for the club to try and get him over from Wigan now and I just wanted to hear a review on his game - particularly, up against another former NRL player and one who was at the club just last year.
Obviously we have no idea how he'll go for us or even what the team dynamics will be like at that point in time. But there's been a couple of positive game reports on him, so was basically wanting to hear an honest assessment on how he went.

Hynes is average and Laurie isn't a halfback and Doueihi is killing at at 5/8. What we need is to replace Brooks with someone who knows how to play as a proper halfback.

Not very well. I think people were looking for immediate results from a guy who is not the messiah. Playing in a beaten pack, but still not even showing patches of his apparent potential. Plenty of hookers can tackle. Still waiting for a glimpse of something else.

Simpkin cannot be held to blame for what happened. He is what a three game veteran?

Any discussion around player signings needs to be tempered against the very real possibility Maguire will be gone. New coach, new thoughts on player acquisitions and players not inclined to sign with WTs while Maguire is coach may alter their position with a new coach.

Roberts hasn't received early ball in any game so I can't judge him.

The issue with Roberts is his headspace. He looks fried . I don't know how you fix him other than confidence and he won't get that here. You can't play him in cup, it would crush him

Roberts seems to be out a bit with injury I know Joey L has not been the best buy but he seems to be hitting his straps I would re-sign him on a lower contract if he will take it

Mbye is on 800-900 in 2022...the problem with his terrible form is clubs will drop off him. Who is even going to pay 400 for him at the moment?

So, we will be on the hook for 'most' of his salary even if someone is stupid enough to want him.

Even if Roberts was out with injury all year the risk is low paying him 150K.

You need these cheap players for squad depth.

Hey guys so looking ahead to 2022 I've put together a team list based on performances so far this season, whom I think will or should be starters next year. 1 - 13 players I've listed should have a spot locked in, 14-18 is very questionable depending on who impresses for the rest of the year. Keep in mind Kepaoa most likely will miss the start of next season, a lot of gaps hence why I have also put together a list of players I would be making offers too. Pompey is a must for mine,tall and strong and can play centre of wing, and the main target a Starting front row metre eating forward to lead this team. If I have missed anyone let me know and would love to hear what off contract players other forum members would like to see join the club in 2022.

No club is paying more than 150k for Mbye. They all have televisions,
He's the "Uncle Charlie" (You've got uncle Charlie, no you've got uncle Charlie) of the NRL.

Our only hope is Hodgo doing us a solid and taking him over to Super League.

I would like to see someone like Papenhausen at fullback (not Hynes), Laurie to 5/8 and Douiehi to Lock. Doueihi is our best player at the moment whilst playing 5/8, however he would not be considered a great 5/8. Ask our centres. Doueihi has great ball skills and is certainly big enough to play in the middle. Laurie is quick, has a good step, and has good hands which could be used more often closer to the play.
