- dead weight mostly cleared off the cap next year
- one would think mbye is gone. He lost is the game last night. I rewatched it this morning because I'm a sadist. He caused 4 of those tries in shirt grabbing and being completely out of position.
- Hastings arrives next year
- potentially 2mil to buy players. Dale finucane and a strong winger should do it
- douhei is growing every week
- bj lielua has actually improved. Guess contract years do that

Mbye is on 800-900 in 2022...the problem with his terrible form is clubs will drop off him. Who is even going to pay 400 for him at the moment?

So, we will be on the hook for 'most' of his salary even if someone is stupid enough to want him.

Can't agree with his terrible form, im really not sure why Mbye is getting flogged for last night? Is it just for the Brimson 5 on 2 overlap miss, which they are scoring no matter what? Or have i missed something else

Mbye contained Fifita ?
They had to help with 3 players and caused massive numbers on the right. The sooner we wake up to this loafer the better.

Worst thing that you can have in a rebuilding team are the wrong senior players.

Probably one of Fifita's most quiet games, so Mbye and the team around contained him well.

You must not watch much footy.

Not sure if mentioned but we should get Hynes for fullback and add Laurie to the halves??

Hynes is average and Laurie isn't a halfback and Doueihi is killing at at 5/8. What we need is to replace Brooks with someone who knows how to play as a proper halfback.

Hynes is well above average. He tore Souths apart the other day. He can play anywhere in the backline too. I'd have him at Centre over any of our lot

This shows how people don't watch the game. Sure he killed us but it could have been a lot worse. The guy is a freak. Mbye was running in and at least slowing him down. He didn't cut us to shreds but only because Mbye was slowing him down and other players could bring him down.

Mbye is a terrible marquee player for us. We need so much better. That doesn't mean that he should cop it for doing a decent job in some aspects of his game.

They don’t contain him at all he broke 8 tackles and ran for 150 meters. He also caused over committing and creating issues all across the defensive line which, is bad football.

Well in fairness David Fifita causes issues for all defensive lines and it's not realistic to think you are going to 1-1 or easily 2-1 him out wide. He has 62 tackle breaks for the year, putting him 2nd in the comp behind Brian To'o and 15 ahead of RTS in 3rd place. He's the only forward in the top 6; in fact he and Isaiah Papali'i are the only forwards in the top 27 for tackle breaks.

Fifita averages 6.9 tackle breaks per match, so 8 is about right.

I do think Tigers handled him ok and they weren't making line breaks off his play or his offloads. Definitely we were nervous about him and committing a lot of troops. He also busted a lot of tackles by fending off the first defender, but the support was usually on him quickly.

The dude on average 2021 - scores 1 try, makes 1.1 line breaks, runs 140m, makes 6.9 tackle breaks, 2.7 offloads. He's a machine. He causes bad football for all clubs.

The age doesn't worry me too much and something needs to change.

Said it a few times - just want commitment from players. At this point I kind of don't care if we lose as long as they are playing with heart, passion and pride.
