This shows how people don't watch the game. Sure he killed us but it could have been a lot worse. The guy is a freak. Mbye was running in and at least slowing him down. He didn't cut us to shreds but only because Mbye was slowing him down and other players could bring him down.

Mbye is a terrible marquee player for us. We need so much better. That doesn't mean that he should cop it for doing a decent job in some aspects of his game.

Don't think we should be moving Adam D at all. He is killing it at the 6 and looks happy (except for the loses).. He needs a genuine Halfback at 7 to control the game as brooks can not do this. I would love Adam Reynolds here but clearly the coach and recruitment team want to persist with brooks.. we just need to sign a few top line players with 2nd rower and wing / centre up in the air.

We have invested in talent in the lower grades. Why would we block their progression with bit players from the Storm. He is made to look better than he is with Munster, Hughes, Papenhuyzen, JAC, Smith and Grant around him. Put him in our team and he will be exposed.

No. Luke Brooks is failing at 7 because he is jot a #7. Throwing Doulieni in at 7?, then Mbye? I guess at 6 wont solve anything. It just means you loose a good 6 who now has to think of all the stuff a 7 needs to think of.

Nicho Hynes is a different kind of back, better to score then push the ball on.

If I was to make real changes. Hastings to 7, Brooks to Center (or even Wing in a Pat Richards style), BJ to bench/2nd row reserve or just reserve grade.

We have to get our Defense and Resiliance right. We cant win when down 30 points.

Hynes is not a 5/8th, his passing game is bog average & has a worse kicking game. His best position is fullback and he isn’t better than Laurie.

I agree, personally I don't see the fuss with Hynes. Does his job at the Storm, but they're next level with their coaching/playing structure.

My guess they are just getting a free valuation to use as a lever in the market place.

The age doesn't worry me too much and something needs to change.

Said it a few times - just want commitment from players. At this point I kind of don't care if we lose as long as they are playing with heart, passion and pride.

ATM, we have a pack of council workers - one or two working while the rest are leaning on their shovels. (Apologies to those who identify as hard-working council workers.)

Still would like to see Madden and Brooks together and Douehie in the centres, to give more speed and balance to the side. And how is Kie going ? Is he playing well enough ? And if so can he play 1sts yet ?

You just didnt compare Brooks to Pat Richards surely, how can you even make that comparison. Im not having a crack at you either im genuinely interested.
On Brooks for me personally and for his own career i think he should move to greener pastures he needs a team of stars around him he will never work here Doueihi is proving that he is the main man that Brooks can never be, its just not in his nature.

The only place i'd LOCK Brooks is in the video review room at training and make him repeatedly watch how to dive and ankle tap a player that he is a meter away from.

I don't know why everyone wants to move Doueihi. He and Laurie are our only attacking threats.
