Simpkins isnt coming fellas. He was ranked like top5 potential talents in the new zealand rugby union scene. The Cows had to do a considerable amount of work to get him over. Added to that he is raw and a year or 2 away at least im told. The cows have him in high regard we have literally no chance.

Don't mind the bloke when he has a go, can run a good line and can put on a shot when he uses his shoulder, but like so many in the current squad, he's inconsistent and I've got no doubt we've got our eye on other players if Garner goes. We must be close to snagging Hetherington. Lock position wouldn't be past him.
And Da Dogs are prioritising Burton & Staines before anything else...

I’m with you there. Need to turn the roster over where we can, otherwise we’re going to keep getting the same results. Garner is a hole runner that scored a few tries when in the red zone, but doesn’t create opportunities for others, there’s very little in the way of offloads, second phase or passing game. Compare Garners stats with Luciano and Eels boys. Bring on Blore...

Not a bad idea and nothing novel either. Remember when we were trying to move Bryce Gibbs on a few years ago. As i remember it, the Sharks said they'd sign Bryce but only if we included Andrew Fifita in the deal-which we did!
