Interested to know who the centres will be for next year,BJ was poor in his first year,Mbye not much better,Talau was in and out of the team,Aj has been used on the wing,Hoffman played 1 game and was highly rated by Madge,Momirovski possibly cOming back,William Kei getting a top 30 or development spot,who does Madge run with?

I think it will be BJ and Doueihi

Leilua is lazy and will not tackle. An ISP cup position but even then he is blocking the pathway of a younger player. Doueihi at 5/8

Doueihi is a chance but I think the plan is for Reynolds at 5/8ty. Still a long time till next season though.

Im not bagging Benji for his faults in attack or defense,but I have to say that when Reynolds played alongside Brooks,he gave the ball air and BJ seemed to do better with ball in hand in those games..
Im not flying the JR flag,but whoever is in the 5/8 position next year has to feed it out so BJ,Noffo can do what they are best at....

Strange one as 13/12/11 look covered at Parra. He has openly said he wants to play back row and we (seemingly) would have been a much better fit.

I was hoping we would get him as he is better than Garner and also a better 13 than we have.

Tons of these second tier guys gone or going...you would like to think we have something up our sleeve.

None of those players have signed anywhere yet. Is there any basis for you completely writing off our chances before any of these players futures have been made official?

Penrith have Luai and Crithcon off contact too and will struggle to find the cash, all might have to take less...

Never was the biggest fan of Yeo, but this year he’s been absolutely amazing I think we should go hard for him and offer a deal he might struggle to ignore!

If he signs with anyone else bar us then we are a joke. No other club in the Comp has targets so public and then go onto miss out on all of them

There’s a whole heap of talent available come November 1st. Considering the cap we will have we NEED to get a big name signing. Yeo is a great player but has always struggled with injury but he’s stayed fit this season and been amazing.

Agreed, some people calling him to not even be in the starting 13 are mad. Most NRL teams would welcome him into their pack.

Has always been solid in defence and attack imo. A trade up even on previous years form

Totally agree with that .. however I do believe that we didnt use him enough last season. BJ is a line busting outside back that should be used as a strike weapon close to try line. It take 2 or 3 defenders to stop him and if the defence does put 2 or 3 defenders in on him, he will either break the line, .. or get held up by the 3 defenders, but then be able to give an off load to an unmarked winger .. !!

He may be a line buster but his defence in the most crucial position is woeful. He's 28 now so it is most unlikely he will improve. Our issue is defence. We cannot afford to carry him especially with Nofoaluma outside. It is our Achilles heel and our defence won't improve until we put a player in the position who can defend.

He’s never been known as a woeful defender in the past though, so there is obviously something to do with our structures and perhaps a bit of his attitude.
