I hope that if we sign Joe O, the club doesn’t go ‘oh that’s a good replacement for Aloiai, he can go to manly now’

Screw that, demand compensation from Manly still. Sironen or they can pay us a couple hundred grand for us. Just because we’ve signed someone in his spot doesn’t mean we should let him go

They won’t have a choice they will want the player starting training shortly and Aloai gone. We will need the cap room. Will play out the same way as it did Matterson. We brought Leilua in who arguably had the better season at a lower cost.
NRL has to fix this.

Do we need the cap room? He’s on $350k and we’ve got plenty of cap left even with signing Roberts and Joe O. Don’t see the need to release him, make manly compensate us

Sometimes you’ve got no choice. As long as it’s not a stupidly long deal it’ll be okay. I think a change of scenery will do him well. Look what Luc did by buying into the coach

Definitely wouldn’t be easy for him and he had a crap coach but fact is he played poor this year so if he can’t move past that stuff and find form it won’t be a good signing. We’ll have to wait and see how he goes if we sign him

By comparison Daniel Saifiti didn’t crack that mark until this year with 144.

Joe also played for the Broncos this year who were on to tilt, it’s a team game.

I don’t think so . I think he wouldn’t have minded joining us , but thought the team was too weak , and didn’t want to be a saviour . Putting my conspiracy hat on , I could see him saying improve the team and we will look at it over the next 12 months .

Well, you have to be a fool to believe everything you read without doing your own research sometimes. However I got no reason to doubt that her illness was legit. Don’t make too much out of it.
