I’m not a Brooks hater and I thought he was pretty good on the weekend. But he’s not the guy you’d want with the ball if the games on the line. He disappears in big moments IMO.

I also think it would be probably best for him and the club if he went elsewhere. Just my opinion.

If he has family & mental issues let’s be understanding. Mental issues aren’t something to make fun of.

For Williams to find out he was punted in the media and not directly is terrible. Especially if there is a history of raising issues to the club. The fact he hasn’t signed anything and its out says this is the club rather than him. He has no family here and who knows what he has been going through.

He’s probably copping about 50 grand a month mate, there’s about 4 months left in the season. Cry me a river.

In Williams own words, he asked for the release at the end of the season and didnt expect it earlier. So what would be the excuse for not turning up to training now?

Kyle Flanagan is hopeless. No way we would be interested in him.

Went well enough at the Sharks for the Roosters to want him.
Wasn't bad at the Roosters. They just knew they had better coming through.

He's as hopeless as they come. Roosters may have wanted him but they weren't fussed about losing him.

Seems pretty evident some just want Brooks gone as Wests Tigers still have 2 roster spots to fill with funds available so Hastings could easily fill one of those should Wigan release him..

I don't know the timeline of things, but it very well could be that he didn't attend training due to the mental health issues he is facing and has decided to message the club with his desire to return home after the season.

I don't think people should make assumptions when it comes to people's mental health.

I believe the only person saying he didn’t turn up to training was Hooper.

There is some reason that he has been released immediately. Hooper reports he didnt show up to training.

I dont actually understand the bleeding hearts and whinging, seriously. If he requested a release for the end of the year because he was homesick, Sticky letting him go early is a plus no? What is the problem?

Maybe we are all off track and the club was up here working on a trade with Walters or Mbye ?
Not sure but I think @THE_POM mentioned Isaako and maybe TPJ were the reason for trip but it doesn't add up.. It costs a bit of money to send 3 up here for a coffee and NO reason... Time will tell

From Williams own mouth, he asked for a release at years end months ago.

I don't think people should make assumptions when it comes to people's mental health.

Because there was a rumour on SEN that Brooks is off to Canberra and at the same time Flanagan Snr and Jnr were coming to aWests Tigers

Well at the moment we have a 6 who is hopeless and a 7 that disappears whenever pressure is applied. I’d much rather halves who have a bit of killer instinct.

My whole point is the screaming to get rid of him, without knowing his replacement is ridiculous. It could very easily be worse, take your example for one (IMO).
