Agreed. Think Mikaele could be very useful off the bench. Like the idea of Thompson - certainly would be our 2nd best prop.

I can see why Madge wants a top line prop - Stefano has a massive future and he needs a partner.

Today’s game really highlighted that we need some power forwards not effort forwards.

We are still short a starting backrower, lock and center though.

You dont spend 850k on your 2nd prop especially one who will spend lots of time watching the game

On the issue of prop, I would be OK with one more, but Twal at starting prop is better than average. The problem is lock as we can't keep having such an immobile middle.

I backed Twally early on but he can't cover 13.

100% agree.. As soon as Stefo goes off we fall apart every game. Imagine we had 2 quality props as that would take the pressure off him.

I’m hoping we can pick up some players in the positions we are lacking that will scrap for everything and relentlessly pursue a win.

If your basing that off this game I thought Mikalee was excellent at prop our problem was he was replaced with a hybrid prop / backrower whom after 100 games should play with more intent but doesn’t. Since he got dropped from origin he has gone backwards at a rate of knots. Really needs to do some soul searching over the off season or he’ll be lining up next to Musgrove for Wests in the front row next year.

Agree and now is a great time as he would get a pay rise now instead of 2024 so that would be an incentive and also assist us in locking him up.

Yeah needs to run straight more and lazy on defence
