Getting them to agree on personnel changes is a challenge apparently, but getting them in the same room at a specific time has proved impossible even with the use of technology.

A few injuries and we got forced to play Amone and other guys who are just okay and not really ready for grade. One more prop would be good

It's amazing that we can have so many holes in the roster yet only have 3 spots left. Papali'i is perfect because he can play both. Now we need a bloke who can cover centre, wing and fullback if necessary lol

Sheens ain't a details person.
NO WAY should he have full control or Authority like this. Des Haslier at the Dogs, etc.

Were talking expenses of 130k to 1million. They should have signoff.
But if they are not meeting regularly enough then delegate this or find people who will meet.

Tim Sheens won't read every line in a contract and he is not a lawyer. No your head coach should not put your club into red finances. But if we can't reasonably sign off on a market deadline then we have a problem.

Wish we could do signings roosters style. Couple of weeks ago there was noise momorovski was going to roosters. Two weeks later it’s done. No fuss. We go back and forth all off season and end up with precious little. Frustrating

I would not even give it a second thought of getting Papali'i over LL... If LL does want to accept the 550k I would say off you go and increase the offer for Papali'i to 650k..
The problem is even if we get him (unlikely IMO) Eels won't release him early as he is on small money next year and they have cap problems. He would be massive for us

Matterson's decision to take up his option has probably done us a favour. Actually I wouldn't mine both Papali and Matterson at WTs. We'd be a far stronger forward unit with them in the team.

Madden imo is going to be a very good organising half. I don't believe it is as clear cut as some believe that Hastings will partner Brooks in the halves. Madden has a lot to offer and it wouldn't surprise me if Brooks and Madden were the halves with Hastings on the interchange.

You know you don’t need backups if your starters are fit and playing consistent footy. Let’s just get a really strong starting squad before we get too stressed about next man up. That’s what development is for IMO.

Because he currently plays for Parramatta who haven't won a premiership for nearly 40 years.

You know you don’t need backups if your starters are fit and playing consistent footy. Let’s just get a really strong starting squad before we get too stressed about next man up. That’s what development is for IMO.

Good clubs have depth in every position - of course you need good starters but you're going to get injuries every season. When roosters or Storm get injuries they have blokes who can come in and do a good job. We have rookies who aren't ready and journeyman

With no backup fullback we will have to play someone out of position too
