According to Fox NRL, 4 clubs have shown interest in Brandon Smith, we are not one of them?

Dogs, Titans, Dolphins and Roosters.

All good, imo.

Against those four teams, with how we're currently perceived, we would have no chance. It seems the club is living a little more in reality. That's good.

I keep mentioning this, but only cos it’s worth being mentioned. He basically brushed us off in the media about a month ago. The club probably took the hint.

I think the time to sign was last year. Definitely not now as he is on such a premium.
Brandon would be good as he can play that Hooker/lock role. I know we are not getting him, even if there is a NZ connection (it would probably be to Bennett).

Api Korosau however if available I would sign in a second. (yes Dreaming)
No idea what we would do with Liddle and we would punt Simpkin. Has the Liddle experiment finished yet?
I feel Liddle is a great bench hooker as he has that speed but clearly no Harry Grant.

Hey, we won the final 30 minutes of that game 16 - 6.

Our game plan in that game was to tire them out in the first 50 minutes by repeatedly giving them the ball, which went well, it did tire them out.

Though unfortunately they scored 60 points in that first 50 mins.

According to Fox Sports he received offers from Titans, Dolphins, Cowboys and another undisclosed team. However, his manager said he hadn’t heard from the club he’s hoping to hear from… which I’m guessing is probably the Roosters.

Recruitment and attitude of the players and personnel are the reason we began the plummet towards the bottom.

For mine I want industry and business Totans on my board and demanding more accountability of the executives.

Unless we’re planning to pull a Cleary or Reynolds out of our backsides it does nothing for us to deplete our halves stocks even more. The upside is we’ll have even more space in the cap that we can’t fill.

For a club that has not made the finals for 10 years we seem to keep getting sponsors but cannot get a quality signing to save itself.... Maybe we need to Corporate team to take over the player recruitment area :face_with_rolling_eyes:
