we bought a dud, they new they had guys like tago and May in the backs coming through
we got sold a lemon that once injured conked out and his head is not in the game
we should have gone after Walsh again

Panthers we're filthy we got Blore though. With Laurie they didn't like it but they could understand it as he had no pathway to first grade. My memory of events at least.

Do we just rinse and repeat and try and get the top junior talent or something like that. Can you go after someone like Sualli now that the hype has worn off a bit and give him a shot.

Walsh would be great but I can't see how we get him.

I look at edwards as top 4 fullbacks in the comp he’s so vital to Penrith’s success

Staines looked very good on the end of that backline v Souths. He has just taken a little longer to settle in but with that pace he is a very dangerous winger. He has the ingredient we lack so much of.

I don't have him that high up....
But he does some un-heralded work for them.
His metres can be out of control at times - Plenty tough.

Our wingers are decent but they are slow. Staines might be able to make it as a fullback as well.

He’s alright. His work rate was junk last year, but it’s something he’s worked on this year, probably because they have so much depth that he’s easily replaceable.

I like the look of him.
He's a sprint coach with some pace.

I feel like this would've been a break out year for him, making a name for himself and pushing for a regular starting spot in 2023....

Hope he comes back strong.
