I would be gobsmacked if Tigers signed Payne Haas. Typically such deals, especially mid-year, are out of our league.

Note however that Broncos have declined the rumoured release request, so it remains to be seen if this is a negotiation tactic from Haas or whether he really wants to force his way out.

I just can't see us forking out a fortune based off the last few offers to players.

It’s a definite expression of interest at testing the market. Maybe not this season…

Haas- carried broncos for a couple of years getting paid well below his output. Assuming now they want him to take large unders because others are only just starting to earn their pay check and they need to upgrade them aswell

Just read somewhere that Joe O has a mutual option for next year. Not sure how it all works but he's the type of guy Bennett would like up there. We need to keep him- he's been our best forward behind Luciano this year.
