Where did I say that? you're placing these expectations on a kid who hasn't even played a full season of first grade.... just cool it a little haha

Yes plenty of work ethic and raw potential in Bula as well.
I simply stated he has not done enough just yet to confirm he has a long term mortgage on our number 1 jersey.
Hopefully he goes to another level and cements the position throughout 2024.
If Wests Tigers have Bula or anyone else playing fullback to a high level, we will make the top 8 in 2024.
The attack from a high class fullback is vital in a teams attack, they are often the difference in winning or losing games.

He has cemented the position - unlike Jayden Campbell for instance who you rate higher!

By the way he and Bula both scored 5 tries in 2023 - Bula from fewer games...

You are going off stats, I’m going off reality.
Anyone watching the games can see that up until now opposing defences are much more threatened when someone like Jayden Campbell has the ball in hand compared with Bula.
I can see Bula has made a big improvement to his physique during this off season, so time will tell if that improvement transforms to the playing field in 2024.
If Bula’s attack becomes as good as you and many others anticipate it will in 2024, Wests Tigers will make the top 8 without a problem and every supporter will be happy.

I don't think it's breaking news that a guy who's been playing in the NRL for 3 years & on a better attacking team is more threatening then a guy who hasn't even played 20 games & was on the worst attacking team in the comp.... here's a link to Bula fending off one of the best props in the game to score a try btw

That was very impressive, I didn’t see it often enough for my liking.
Reece Walsh does that and more multiple times per game.
A modern day NRL fullback can’t just be a very good player, they have to be a superstar in order for their team to be a genuine top 8 contender.
I’m not saying Bula has not already proven to be a very good player, I’m saying he needs to show a fair bit more in 2024 to become a genuine superstar.
It’s not beyond him, but time will tell.
