His Polish cousinIs the guy in the 3 jersey related to Makasini ?
The drama is that the only real advantage the Tigers have in talks with Galvin is that they can increase his salary now. He'll be on peanuts for 2025 and 2026 as it's the same contract he signed before he played first grade, but if the Tigers extend him they'll (presumably) tear up that contract and replace it with one where he starts making good money right away. By not taking that, Galvin is effectively saying that he's willing to sacrifice money now for the advantages waiting gives - of which by far the biggest one is seeing what other clubs have to offer. And if that's his mindset I'd say he's as good as gone.I don’t see what all of the drama is about with Galvin,
If by chance he does get 2nd year syndrome and has a disappointing year we save $
If he has a stand out season we will need a lot of money to keep him.
The kids gambling on his ability which by about half way through this year we should know if he collects or ends up costing himself some serious 💰
As a gambler myself I wish him well.
is this the video in question .. make your own decision:Anything we should be worried about.
Funny how the whole thing was swept under the carpet by Politis and the NRL at the time and lo and behold Politis comes out this week with a zero tolerance for nose candy at the rorters. If it supposedly wasn't an issue and didn't exist before how come he comes out with this now.It looked sus mate he's young and still maturing. I don't care what he does in the offseason, but during the season you better not be getting on the nose beers.

Politis is a hypocrite - why didn't he turf them when it happened rather than let them see out the season and then put on the tough guy approach during the off season. Both players futures at the club became non existent as soon as their season was done.
(Despite their contract status)
His stance is pretty clear, What more would you have him do?
If there is any 'sweeping under the carpet' it's here and amongst the WT's fans with the player we've signed.
We've all very conveniently has a memory lapse.
I don't know, it's all Greek to me.Politis is a hypocrite - why didn't he turf them when it happened rather than let them see out the season and then put on the tough guy approach during the off season.

I wouldn’t be surprised if in the end of year review with Robbo, that Robbo told May he wanted him to cease the soc med all together, and May has gone snap out of it old digger.I think it in part had to do with his social media. More specifically, what he was doing in a certain video, in a hotel room, with another Rooster who is conveniently on the nose (no punt intended).
A season ending injury could be the last game of NRL a player plays, and even if it isn’t, they could end up like Doubie. To be fair you're far too emotionally involved in this. Hoping someone gets injured is actually pathetic!!

I'm not convinced the video has anything to do with those 2 being moved on. Leniu and Whyte were also in the video and they are still there. Both players futures at the club became non existent as soon as their season was done.

Whenever I think of that game, I remember how WT had just 2 or 3 finish to sets in the whole game where they kicked it into the corner to try to lock Parra in their own 20 or 30m. They came out of the sheds in the second half throwing the ball around without earning it with any hard work in the middle. They’d turn the ball over 40m out of Parras tryline and give them territory and failed to turn their middles around. Built no pressure at all. I’m not surprised they copped 60.
