If you were looking for indications that a player and his management wanted out the first chance they got, you couldn’t find any better examples of the above. The question will be what will do with him in 26.

Just wondering what our cap situation will be if Olam gets medically retired say this week and Klem ends up at Saints as widely reported in regards to roster spots and dollars in the cap.

How rational is it though? - It's easy to say (and easier to disagree)

The 'waiting and seeing' is costing Galvin about 300k a year.
6k in his hand right now for every week he 'waits'.

Surely that makes the equation a whole lot less, No?
That's Huge - Even bigger for a kid,
Anything could happen, He may never go on to make that sort of money.

Mate, we’ve already released Stef, Bateman and Ice. You’d think we’d already be in a strong position. There’s no point being cashed up if you aren’t going to spend it.

Another with his head in the clouds. It’s not about winning or losing. He does not want to be here. What’s a few wins going to mean in the scheme of things for the next 4-5 years.

Galvin also put to bed a report that said he was telling teammates he was happy to be leaving.

"Absolute lie," he said.

"I would never do that to any of my teammates or Benji [Marshall] or any of the coaching staff. I would never disrespect them like that.

"I would never walk around the sheds yelling out I want to quit. It's all BS."

Again, why would his word on the matter carry any weight? Are you expecting him to admit these things? Do you know the damage it would do to his brand?

Given his actions last year, I’m dubious. Someone puts a mic in his face, he naturally denies it, and you say “I’m sold” like you would expect a different answer.

If he said it you don't think there would've been more noise around it? From the club or the players leaking it to their managers? Buzz & Hoops spoke some shit on 360, Galvin denied it & it was never brought up or heard of again. You obviously have a narrative in your head tho.

Manly will be after an organising no: 7 as it didn’t take them 10 years to work out Brooks is a running 5/8 not an organising half,
which is exactly what Galvin is as well.
